The property double booked our room without letting us know until we were almost there after a 5 hr drive. We booked in Feb and the actual stay is on Aug 13. They had all this time to reach out and didn't. They rebooked us when we got there at a nearby motel that is clearly substandard and cheaper. The new motel room had flaking paints, missing fire alarm in ceiling, missing bathroom fan cover, ant problem, closets without hanging pole...etc. Ramada offer to reimburse 30% of our stay which i talked up to 50%, but there is nothing on paper to indicate that other than their word which is already broken. With the new place even with discount they probably make a profit from my stay and the difference between the price of the two facility. Which mean they could make extra from double booking. We were not the only family too.
