“The location on the beautiful lake and close to the fjords and lots of activities was great. The breakfast was good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Of course, it is a guest house and our room was equipped with simple bunk beds. But it was very nice stay for us as a family. ”

“This is a lovely property in a beautiful spot. We stayed in one of the historic rooms in the main building. It was comfortable, quiet, and the water pressure was excellent. The three course dinner with wine pairings was delicious and beautifully presented, if a tad pricey. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. A unique hotel experience that we would definitely do again.”

“Hadde et veldig fint opphold. Veldig fint og rent på både rommet og felles områder. Det var felles bad, men det var ikke noe problem. Veldig god frokost. De som eier det og jobber der er veldig imøtekommende og gir gjerne tips på turer og ting en kan gjøre. Det er også en fin og stor felles stue og mulighet til å bli kjent med andre gjester om man ønsker det. ”

“Left stranded. The property did not send the entry instructions for after-hours entry, even though they clearly advertised that they would. I NEVER got into my room and had to drive 60 kilometers to Sogndal late at night to find another room. I am a foreigner and could not get their phone number to work to ask for instructions. I left several messages through Expedia with no reply. The hotel in Sogndal included a breakfast and bedding and a very nice stay for roughly the same price as this...
