“If you are looking for property with privacy and seclusion away from the summer rush of vacationers, this is the perfect spot!This property features most all the comforts of home with beautiful views of the water from the living, dining and master bedroom. There is a fire pit with plenty of seating to enjoy the evenings. There are plenty of options for delicious food, groceries and adventures nearby. The owner was very helpful. She was in touch by phone and by email and offered lots of tips for...

“It was so nice to stay here! The communication was great, the house is nice, and overall had a great experience staying here!!”

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

“Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). ”

“The unique property was perfect for our stay as an extended family including grandparents, siblings and kids. Everyone had plenty of space without tripping over each other, the property was private and clean, in a great location, and the host very responsive. The AC in bedrooms and plenty of toys already there for young kids were great added bonuses. They have clearly put a lot of thought into what will make their guests stay more enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawall Shores. The house had everything! Location is close enough (1 hr drive) to Bar Harbor to easily explore the main part of Acadia, but also very near the Schoodic side entrance (10 mins) and a few local shops, restaurants, and a brewery. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed the game room! My wife and I took our morning coffee in with a water view from the porch while we ended our nights with a glass of wine in the chairs on the rocky beach or by the firepit. Even...

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....
