“This is a great hostel. Very clean, right on the beach, incredible service. It did get rowdy at night, but was not a trashy vibe at all - fine if you were not trying to party. We are a couple in our 30s and enjoyed ourselves.”

“Absolutely peaceful. Cabins are very comfortable. With the nice breeze blowing through, i slept very well. The staff, the food and the place is very accommodating. Highly recommended.”

Phenomenal staff with amazing service, the most stunning location with the beach/ocean right in your front yard, & an awesome food/drink selection that all tastes great! “I'm giving it a 2 star review only for the kindness of the owner, the free breakfast and the location. Otherwise it would have been a 0. The place is bad, really really bad. The room was small, dirty, infested with bugs, never cleaned in 4 days (imagine how much sand brought from the beach and how many dead insects were on the floor after 4 days of stay). There are no words to describe the room, pictures speak form themselves (the black spots are bugs and I definitely did not eat inside the...

“The property is on the older side and it is quite a distance from Puerto Princesa(6hr drive) but if you are coming from El Nido is only an 1 1/2hr drive. The property is quiet as well which helps you relax and enjoy since it’s away from the city. The staff are friendly and accommodating to our needs. Overall I would stay here again for some peace and quiet.”

“Big Paul’s is the place to be in El Nido - we didn’t know what to expect and opted for a private twin room with for £15 each Free rum and coke - for 3 hours Copious free shots - made by Paul himself Loads of other amazing backpackers from around the world Free breakfast and just everyone is so nice! 5 mins in a tricycle from El Nido town centre Bike rental yards away Can’t fault it one bit - we only wish we could have stayed longer (my liver probs couldn’t take it though)”

“This property suited our needs perfectly. It’s right on the water and right in the center of El Nido. It’s right next to restaurants, tour information, and a convenience store, plus an easy area to grab a trike. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are all adjoining so it was a bit loud if you have neighbors. We could hear the rooms next door TV all night. Otherwise it had exactly what we needed and the staff was SO nice and caring. ”
