“Quaint stay, friendly staff, family run business. There is construction outside but did not hear it at all at night. The rooms are around the corner from the main office, very close to train station. We stayed on the bottom floor and there was one bathroom to share with one other room stay. The bathroom was newly renovated with a very nice shower. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated, single beds, with a sink, and a window that opens to a cute overgrown garden. I was expecting a busier...

“Overall our stay was great. We slept ok. Our room overlooked the garden and was comfortable and quiet. The only thing we didn’t like was that the room wasn’t serviced during our stay (4 nights). This meant that we ran out of milk sachets for coffee on our second day & they weren’t topped up. Had there been a mini fridge in the room, we could have bought a carton of milk from the supermarket & it would have kept fresh in the fridge. ”

“There were stains on the bedspread provided. No towels were provided even upon request with the excuse that none had been delivered. No heat in room provided and it wasn’t rectified despite my complaints. No hot water in bath and when I wanted to leave and book another hotel I was told no one could assist me. I had booked 2 nights but I had to leave after 1 night because we just couldn’t take it anymore. I had to look for and book another hotel.”
