“What a great place. Our room may have been small, but it was perfect for what we needed. Location was easy walk to lots of restaurants and stores. There was a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave which we really appreciated. Breakfast was great and we even had a few choices of what to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Pour ce court passage à Monteverde, nous avons choisi une chambre privée qui était très propre, avec une salle de bain complète et privée et un lit vraiment très confortable! L'accueil à été génial. L'ambiance est plutôt calme et axé sur de belles habitudes de vie saine. Le café/ restaurant adjacent est vraiment délicieux!! Une fois stationné, tout est accessible à pied. Notez que la ville de santa- Elena est en montagne. ”

“What a lovely vacation at Finca Sunset! I had low expectations going in because the pics don't do the property justice. There are multiple buildings on this property and I got my own two bedroom house complete with a full kitchen (stocked with breakfast), a jacuzzi tub overlooking the mountains and forest, and a private garden with plantain and banana trees. “This property was good for the price. It’s clean and comfortable. The property is dated but the owners really make this property a very nice stay. They are very accommodating and also helped with booking our tram reservation and provided recommendations for local eateries. We would stay again. “The room had the absolute minimum of amenities and the staff would not provide anymore as requested. The bathroom tile work was long over due for replacement and there was a long hole in the wall below the air conditioner. There was no parking and no sign to indicate where the hostel was located. We decided not to stay and the staff and manager refused to refund any portion of the charged 5 day cost. I would recomment avoiding this property completely!”
