Consider that car is necessary ideally 4x4 as all roads in area are dirt and not all are well maintained. Part of the beauty of the area. Restaurant at hotel is lovely with great selection. “The view from the pool is amazing! We spent an entire day there. The view from the room patio was also nice. We saw lots of birds every day. Get ready for the stair master to get to and from your room. Our room had a sketchy hole in the ceiling above the shower and we had quite a few bugs in our room, but no big deal when you're in paradise. The bathroom was a lil small and dated, but we hardly spent any time in there. Drinks at the pool were reasonably-priced even thigh they didn't have any...

On arrival I was given a brief orientation and a set of keys and a remote for the gate. Loved the swimming pool and the beach is a couple of minutes walk from property. “We ended our first trip to Costa Rica, in Uvita, at Nature's Edge. We travelled the Pacific Coast, but it wasn't until we got to Uvita that we experienced the true jungle. Nature's Edge is tucked away about 2 miles up a steep road (you truly do need a 4x4 to access it, but we had a little AWD Suzuki, that we put in manual mode, and that did the trick just fine). “Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. “Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here!! The house, amenities and property exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent and in walking distance to Marino Ballena park and restaurants. The adult highlight was having excellent coffee (included) on the deck while watching the view/sunrise with macaws flying by. The kids loved the pool and hammocks. We would definitely stay here again.”
