“Muy buen colchón y almohada. El ventilador funciona perfecto y entra brisa en la noche si dejas la cortina abierta. Me gusto la playa privada y las tumbonas bajo sombra. Se puede mejorar la rapidez del servicio en desayuno, pero el desayuno en sí es abundante y delicioso. ”

“❗️Mi esposo Angel y yo pasamos tres noches. Nuestra experiencia fue excelente. Desde el frontdesk doña Maria fue muy amable, amistosa y professional. Todo el personal muy atento y serviciales. Las instalaciones, asi como zonas verdes muy bien mantenido todo. Les recomendamos este precioso hotel. Muchas gracias. “Struttura meravigliosa. Pulizia e cura degli ambienti eccezionale. Camere dotate di tutti i comfort. Reception disponibili e gentili ma chi fa' veramente la differenza e la Sig.ra Maria con il suo sorriso e la sua infinita gentilezza e la sua disponibilità verso gli ospiti , ti fa' sentire veramente come a casa . ”

“I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the food was tasty, and the beautiful beach behind the property was a wonderful bonus—it felt almost private. Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning was a memorable experience. Just keep in mind that having a car is beneficial. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!”

“Very nice cabins. The ones closest to the road can be a little noisy but not unbearable. Great restaurant on the property. We also visited a nearby Caribbean restaurant called Lidia’s for delicious food. The beach is walking distance behind the property but you have to search for a safe spot to swim due to big surf ”

“We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. We weren't able to park our car in the lot as it was full but after contacting the host we were told it was fine to park on...

“You feel like at home. The owners make sure that you feel great and they are always ready to tell you about the best things available in the area. The place is a mix of rustic & elegance in the middle of the nature ..... sloths are included into the price ...... :-)”

“This lodge is every bit is beautiful as the pictures show. They had a young sloth on property that we saw the first day. We saw all sorts of birds and agoutis too. Staff were very helpful. Filtered water and coffee on endless supply in the dining area. The Wi-Fi on the property is good, but it does not extend to the cabins. This was fine with me, but it is something that might be relevant for visitors. The rooms are absolutely thoughtfully done in the open air living is marvelous. Also many...

“I spent 1 night and it was fine for me. The room was clean. There is a fan which was good bc I don't like ACs. The mattresses needs updating bc I could feel the coils. The front desk was very nice. The grounds are very clean. ”

“Nice hotel with good breakfast. The staff was friendly. Good parking possibilities. The only negative was that they did not serve any food (except breakfast) and that the roof made a lot of noise when it was raining (there are some kind of plastic protection on the roof of the room which make the rain sound a lot, hard to sleep without earplugs). ”
