“This was our first time staying at a La Quinta Inn for a family vacation, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
During breakfast, my 9-year-old daughter accidentally picked up the tongs instead of the spatula to serve herself some scrambled eggs. Instead of calmly explaining the mistake, an employee abruptly snatched the utensil out of her hand and threw it into the trash without saying a word. He then handed her a new spatula, but never explained what she had done wrong or...

“Best place to stay in Carlsbad NM. Clean, pleasant facility. Free breakfast was very good. Beds were soft for my liking, but slept well. Didn’t use the pool or gym. We were there to see the cavern. We would stay here again, if ever in the area.”

“We enjoyed our stay here! It is very well kept with wonderful, helpful staff. It is in a great location. The rooms are spacious with a seating area as well as a mini fridge and microwave.”

“Booked this hotel for the use of the pool for our children on Fourth of July weekend so they had a fun time, unfortunately the pool was closed in the middle of the summer. So we checked out early. I have yet to hear from the property manager to let us know if we can get a refund for the night NOT used. Don’t include the pool in your listings if we can’t use it.”

“It was a great place to stay. Very clean despite the construction. The breakfast area was immaculate, loved the variety of items on the breakfast bar. The attendant was very courteous and kept the area super clean. I could have stayed there all morning. It was a great choice in staying.”
