“The property is at a very calm place and has been running since 1650 which is amazing fact. The room I’ve stayed in was a attic converted into a room. The room and bed was good but felt a old smell which needs made it feel that it needs a room freshner across the rooms and houses. There was good and spacious car park and within 10-15 min drive from lot of English heritage sites. I would like to see a bottled water in rooms along with towels as it felt wrong to grab water from sink.

“Ethan was very friendly and helpful even though he was working alone and had been let down by housekeeping staff not turning up to work. The same can’t be said for the young lady working the bar that evening, who was less than friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was very good quality and cooked and served speedily.
Have visited the pub many times over the years and pleasantly surprised how much more comfortable it is now.
Over all a great stay ”

“We loved everything about our stay here. The staff was amazing! Easy to talk to, and always available for any questions we had. The rooms were great. Big room with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again!”
