“The Bar Harbor Manor was a lovely place to stay. We went off season so it was very quiet and easy to park in the downtown area. However you can walk downtown. The Manor offered a small breakfast in a cozy living room with a fireplace. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. I definitely recommend staying here.”

“Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”

“We stayed in mid-November, after much of the town has closed up for the season. The front desk provided us with a list of restuarants that were still open, which was helpful. The Oasis lounge was still open and where we ate our first night, everything was delicious. We were upgraded to an ocean view room and enjoyed watching the snow flurries blow in over the water. Beautiful property with great views! We really enjoyed the quiet!”

“Had a great stay! Considering the price around thebarea, QAR seem like a steal! Situated at the far end of downtown but a 15-20 minute walk isn't so bad. Room is clean and have enough space (chair needs to be replaced though). Breakfast is decent thoigh would be nice to have hot meals in the future Parking. It's free and during peak season could be a challenge but not impossible to navigate to. It's not as small as other have reviewed. Probably avoid bringing a full-sized SUV or big...

“Everything about this place was excellent. The place is in impeccable condition. Rooms were so comfortable. Mattress, bedding (especially the bedding; I'm still dreaming about the comforter!).
