“Incredible views of the bay and forest from the room- we saw macaws, toucans, and hummingbirds fly around our bungalow everyday. Down at the restaurant, we were also lucky to see iguanas and monkeys. The staff is amazing- Ingris, Andre, Lily, and Darlene. Everyone was so so sweet and hospitable. They take care of booking any activities you’re interested in. I recommend dining at their restaurant for dinner!”

“Property is an actual retreat, so keep that in mind while booking. Car is almost a must, 4x4 highly recommended but not you can make it there with smaller cars (not that small). The place is very nice, property seems very new. I would definitely come again.”

“The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. ”

“It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way...

“L'endroit est parfait pour explorer Baie Drake et en étant un peu retiré pour la tranquillité. Sebastian le proprio offre le service de taxi pour un prix très raisonnable. Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. “Well Worth the money. Sophisticated luxury, where the staff get to know you. Only 4 families there when we stayed- so peaceful. Food fantastic - cater for all. Diving trip, Corcovado national park and massages all fantastic. One of my top three places I have ever stayed”

“Vista drake lodge is amazing. We stayed for 4 nights. We even got an upgrade to one of the lodges! The views from there are amazing overlooking drake bay and you just want to chill on the porch in your personal hammock forever. The lodgings are in the center of town and everything can be reached by foot. Emmanuel also hosts a lot of tours, gives great advice and we got a special breakfast on the day we left which was super nice! We did some diving on cano island (highly recommended) and went...
