“We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Lake Placid with our dog. We had a room on the first floor with a sliding glass door that opened onto the expansive lawn at the front of the hotel, with a small patio with a couple of chairs and a table. The view of the mountains and over the town is spectacular. It was a perfect room for traveling with a dog, as our dog could go right outside to pee without us having to trek all the way through the building. “We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Placid Boutique Inn. The hotel was in walking distance of the Main Street attractions and shops and across the street from the public beach. My kids were particularly happy with the afternoon cookies that were out in the lobby. The room was clean and modern. The ac was in the corner so air circulation wasn’t the best but not bad since we had a fan. We would stay here again. ”

“Me and my dog had such a wonderful stay and loved the location right on the Main Street in lake placid. Beautiful views of mirror lake from our room, pet friendly, valet service, complimentary coffee during day and comfortable peaceful stay here. ”

“Very nice room. Clean and quiet. Had dinner in the restaurant and the continental breakfast in the morning. Would recommend and would stay again. Pretty views of the lake.”

“The "breakfast buffet" was not a buffet. It was not worth the money it cost. You chose from a very limited menu and i wouldn't call it a restaurant. Very disappointing, very misleading. Not worth $46 that i paid when booking the hotel. ”

“It was off season which may account for it being so quiet. The use of bikes, canoe, kayaks complete with life jackets all at your fingertips at no cost when ever you needed it, was great. And you are right on the lake!!! Manager and staff were very friendly.”

“My family of 5 stayed for a long weekend for baskeball. The rooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor area and loved seeing all the animals around the water, we saw goose and deer. We enjoyed the privacy of the space and the closeness to main street. ”

“Me and my wife had an amazing time there! Buck and his wife were awesome and gave us great suggestions on activities to check out. The location was awesome between the amenities and just being able to relax made it worth it. “Such a beautiful and well cared for B & B. Comfortable, cool, clean, artistic and historic. Enjoyed my stay immensely. Favorite thing was I barely saw any staff there my entire stay. I think they purposely stay out of your way unless you need something. Awesome and unexpected. ”
