“Location is the best! We had a suite which was perfect for our group of four plus our dog. Staff is attentive and friendly. Property is clean and well maintained. Pool and hot tub are a plus. Very welcoming to the dogs. Definitely will be back”

“A very nice remodel of a motor court motel with all new interior, heating, and plumbing. Comfortable with large TV and nice beds. Very clean. Only smell we could smell was new wood, which doesnt bother her. The staff said they use environmentally conscious cleaning products. “I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. “We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings.
