“The lake is gorgeous and the location was perfect -- secluded and private but also convenient to town. We were very comfortable at the cabin (even when it got down to 40 degrees one night) and would certainly go back. During our stay especially enjoyed the walking trail in the woods where the house is located, kayaking and swimming in the lake, and hearing the calls of loons in the evenings. ”

“This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!”

“Our family had a great time at Ladybird Lodge. The original timber house has been updated with plenty of room for our party of six. The property is private, quiet, and surrounded by large trees. We really enjoyed the large, clean, and well lit hot tub. It was outside on the deck with the fire pit and hot tub.The kitchen was well stocked with non perishables, appliances and cookware. “We will definitely be back. It was the perfect location for our trip, close to things but not a terribly far drive to other nearby towns. It was great for us and our two dogs. Very spacious and private. One of the cleanest houses I’ve ever rented and full of thoughtful touches from hand cream in the bathroom to maple syrup and bug nets bug spray and flashlights. “My family and I have stayed in many rentals over the years and by far this one was the best. A mile in on a well maintained camp road, so nicely secluded. No cell service but quality WI FI. The house was so well built and nicely laid out, a pantry with space for our dry goods, well stocked with cleaning supplies and paper products. Quality dinnerware, utensils.
