“This was an amazing and unique experience in the middle of the desert. The camel ride and the SUV tour was worth it . I had tea in the nomads tent ,visited the old mines , listening to a life Gnawa show and lunch at Nora restaurant than camel ride back to camp .The host Zaid was the best host ever , he picked us upon arrival at 2am and drove us to camp than serve us a full dinner course especially made for us .I want to thank Zaid ,Mohamed and Fatima for making our visit so special . ”

“Una struttura veramente carina, vicinissima alle dune del Sahara. Abbiamo dormito in una stanza tripla veramente grande e con aria condizionata , veramante utile ad agosto viste le alte temperature. La colazione è ottima ed abbondante. Abbiamo cenato 2 volte al Dar Tafouyte e la cena era squisita, sia le varie tajine che gli spiedini di pollo. “We hung around a pool all day, took a sunset camel ride to a secluded desert camp, had a beautiful dinner and show, slept under the stars, then went sandboarding in the morning- a wonderful time. Only downside was the 114F heat, which made it a bit hot to sleep in the tent. Well worth the trip to Merzouga.”

“Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff.
