“Our stay at the Havgrim Seaside Hotel was fabulous. Great view. Beautiful room. Convenient. The bathroom situation was a bit awkward unless you are very comfortable with your room mate. There was a clear glass door which meant there was no privacy. ”

“Very nice property. Clean, quiet, and the handover process is very simple and clear. Grocery stores is max 10 minutes walk away and has all you’d need. Parking is available and easy to access and it’s on city outskirts so it’s easy to get in and out of. Overall, very pleasant stay. ”

“Spacious apartment. Super clean and great to have 2 double beds which were very comfortable. Bathroom lovely and modern with a very powerful shower (water could easily spray all over the floor). Super central position for everything in the town. Quiet neighbours and neighbood, with the exception of noise from a local bar on Saturday. Would happily stay again. ”

“This is a great place to stay. Wonderful location -- easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Small grocery store about 100m away! House was immaculately clean. Pictures online are very accurate -- my experience has often been that the pictures are much nicer than the property; this is not the case here at all. Host checked in regularly by email and responded quickly to questions. Absolutely recommend this property.”

I took this photo on August 27th in the Faroe Islands. This waterfall is one of the most picturesque and well-visited sights there. And one of the highlights of my trip! It was a dream to visit the Faroes and especially this waterfall. Am so glad I finally did :). And while popular with photographers it is still quite isolated! And compared to the waterfalls of Iceland it is not nearly as popular. Same with the Faroe Islands as a whole. And there was just a few other tourists when I was there at sunset. Also, before the completion of a tunnel in about 2006 this waterfall was even less visited as one had to travel over the mountains to get there. A much harder journey. But the scenery is incredible on the way! And even more so when you are there :).
