“We just stayed one night before the ferry to Orkney. The room was comfortable and really clean. Staff were friendly and helpful so top marks to the team. Great breakfast included in our rate was a bonus. I'd definitely stay here again. ”

“Jättetrevligt hotell med vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. Restaurangen och bar hade ett bra utbud. Bra mat. Frukosten får ocks bra betyg, lite enahanda brödutbud bara. Rummet välstädat och sköna sängar.”

“Hotel accogliente e pulito. Naturalmente è un 3 stelle, ma lo consiglierei. Assomiglia abbastanza ad un b&b nella gestione. Una pecca: ha collegamento wi-fi ma nessun pc a disposizione per il collegamento ad internet.”

“Struttura piuttosto datata. Le stanze sono ristrutturate ma avrebbe comunque bisogno di una rivisitazione complessiva. Detto ciò il servizio è stato molto gentile, e il riposo è stato buono.”

“Do not miss the smallest street in the world, certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. Is part of the restaurant “No. 1” By the Way the restaurant has well elaborated recipes!!! Recommended !!!”

“Lovely views over the water. Hosts great for advising of local attractions. Whaligoe Steps were wonderful. Cooked Scottish breakfast excellent and very large! Proper butcher sausages too. ”

“Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good”

“Great place to stay in Wick, literally a home away from home. Bread, butter, milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise on arrival. Every amenity you could expect. The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Communication excellent and responsive throughout. Highly recommended.”

“One night stop while traveling the nc500 with my son. The apartment was spotless, and looked like it had recently refurbished. It was perfect for our needs.”

“Our stay was great. We were delayed into town due to a canceled flight but Callum was there when we arrived and promptly showed us to our room. Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. The area is good for walking around Wick. We didn’t have a chance to have a drink in the bar as it was closed the two evenings we were there. I would recommend and we plan to return again ”

“We had a wonderful time at Burnside during our road trip through Scotland. Our suite was comfortable and provided all we needed. We loved walking around the tranquil setting and making friends with the local sheep. Our host was friendly, attentive, and the food wonderful. She lent us binoculars and guided us to the best places to see puffins. We’re happy we had the opportunity to stay there.”

“Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! ”
