“Clean , comfortable, and a great walkable location”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chalet at the Choo Choo! The hotel has such a unique atmosphere, it truly feels like stepping back in time while still offering all the modern comforts you could want. The historic character is beautifully preserved, making the experience much more memorable than a typical hotel stay. “The hotel is well located and is beautiful inside. The rooms had everything we needed and the staff were really friendly. Only slight criticism would be the pool. It’s an indoor pool and doesn’t appear to be geared (or if it is, it isn’t very warm!). There were no loungers, only chairs. You couldn’t sunbathe outside in the garden as there were no loungers or chairs. It was 35 degrees (95F) and so we had planned to have an afternoon relaxing around the pool, but couldn’t.”

“Great place for families. The heated indoor/outdoor pool was wonderful, and the location is right across from the kids' museum and right down the street from the aquarium. Good breakfasts. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”
