“I loved the decor - quite traditional and full of character which I prefer to a more corporate style Some people might find it a little shabby, but very comfortable nonetheless, although a few minor maintenance issues like squeaky doors and wardrobe doors and missing curtain hooks, for example, could be easily resolved. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Great location and great value for money. ”

“The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. “When we arrived, we were informed there would be no housekeeping in our room as we were nly there for 2 nights, but could ask for extra towels if we wanted them. In our double room, there was only one towel in the bathroom, this had a large orange stain on it. The location of the hotel was good, central. There is car parking, but it isn't cheap. We only had breakfast in the hotel, which was reasonable, on a par with Premier Inn. The decor in the rooms was tired, the bed was comfortable. Bar...

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”
