Pretty poor. Signage for hotel still says ‘holiday inn’, giving confusion on where to go to check in. staff seem disinterested, was only told where my room was, not given information about parking or breakfast etc (an opportunity to sell). Room was outdated, shower curtain heavily stained, sink wasn’t fully clean when checked in. Might not have been staff, but someone that seemed like staff barged past me to get into a lift, when I was there first and was going up. (Don’t know for sure it was a staff member to be fair). No functioning bar anymore, and restaurant just for breakfast - not really a big deal but just felt like a ghost town.

Great price if you just need a room for the night. As a student at the nearby University its perfect for me and better than renting the student accommodation in the area. Clean room, own bathroom and tea making facilities. All I need for staying occasionally overnight. I can confirm as other reviews have mentioned, there is an odour of weed in the lift, but the room is fresh. Can't really complain for the price you pay.

This is my second time staying here, After a 13 Hour drive I just wanted to sleep. Storm Chandra was barreling through Aberdeen the night I stayed. I was put in level 5 facing full force of the Storm. It was like the window had a massive Gap. The room was freezing even with a small heater in the room. I had to put ear plugs in and get some sleep. The shower in the morning was like Warm. I couldn't wait to get out. There was a massive Green Spit in the Lift I noticed which made me feel physically sick. You get what you Pay for I suppose.

The hotel room was nice but the lobby smelt of pot and we were accosted by hotel guest for cigarettes as they use the hotel as a down and outs that the council put in till they get housed so stay away from there

When was the last time u guys hoovered communal??? Seriously... its my first time seeing a hotel in this condition.... i was shocked to say the least. Ive never seen a hotel that didnt clean its hallways and stairs, rubbish everywhere, random things left in corridors like someones walker, bags of rubbish, wrappers... bits of fabric, food... like wth 😅 definitly not cleaned for a long time. However.... the staff were friendly on the front desk. Be aware there is a charge for parking.

We booked in and met my mother and sister complaining and advised that they were not staying. The rooms were a disgrace and smelled . The place smelled of cannabis. The night manager agreed to refund the money when Hotels.com phoned them his name was FIBIN £117.22 was to be refunded. Hotel is not as advertised. While we’re were there at the desk another person appeared through the key at the manager and walked out. We then had to frantically try and find another hotel. I use you a lot and this is not what I expect when booking through yourselves Can I have raised a complaint and await my refund

The only thing holiday inn was the sign at the door. This should be removed and more explanation that it is not holiday inn. The room was clean and the staff friendly. We had chicken tikka meal. 4 bits of chicken in a what tasted like a jar of tasteless sauce and tiny nan bread. It took 1 hour and a lot of microwave sounds. Didn’t have breakfast. Smell of weed in the corridor. Kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided even from reception I could not recommend this hotel. I know it was a last minute budget hotel booking but expected better.

I stay several times a week. Everytime I am here there is an issue, and usually it the same one each time. This time around the shower head was extremely dirty, it was modly and quite disgusting. The hair dryer didn't work again this week. There is a kettle, but no tea bags, coffee or milk.

Établissement difficile à trouver, il s’agit finalement du Holiday Inn. Une affiche papier sur la porte d’entrée indique le nouveau nom de l’hôtel mais cela ne fait pas officiel. Parking payant alors qu’il est indiqué en libre service sur l’annonce. Ascenseurs sales (taches de boissons collantes au sol). Le chauffage dans notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas, nous avions un petit chauffage d’appoint qui faisait des étincelles une fois branché… nous avons donc dormi sans chauffage, avec une fenêtre mal fermée (qui doit être cassée), donc isolation sonore très réduite. Peu de choix au petit déjeuner (qui est en supplément), produits non frais. Les photos de l’annonce ne sont d’ailleurs plus d’actualité Nous ne nous sommes pas senties en sécurité dans cet hôtel au vu de la fréquentation et des personnes que nous avons croisé dans les couloirs… Les seuls avantages sont le tarif très attractif de la chambre (qui ne vaut pas plus) ainsi qu’un arrêt de bus à proximité pour se rendre en centre ville

A used sheet outside the door. The window had a gun shot break on outside glass which affected the noise. Kettle cup & tea spoon in the room but not tea/coffee milk in the room because "We don't don't do that any more". Good to know beforehand would be nice.

The hotel felt unsafe for a solo female traveller. The rooms were accessed via a pin code and there was no deadlock on the door. The room was not clean with rubbish strewn under the bed and the carpets did not appear to have been hoovered anywhere. The room had a dirty smell.

Second time staying here. Room was very spacious and so was bathroom. There was no chair in the room to sit at the table so i pulled the sofa forward and there was quite a bit of mess underneath it, so not the cleanest. The matress was bit more comfortable this time because they layed matress topper down, so it didn't feel springy this time. The hair dryer was broken and was giving off a burning smell. I left a piece of clothing behind but staff have not seen it, they said they'd let me know if it turns up. A few reminders. You have to pay for parking. There is no coffee or tea in the room although there is a kettle and cups.
