“This property is recently updated and beautiful. The fireplaces in each room are really cool and modern. No real fire, but different color options and heat settings. The views are exceptional. We prefer the marina view because you can see the main drag and do some people watching. The bed was so comfortable and the dog friendly aspect was really great. “Great stay for the price! Old beach smell, but property has been updated with newer flooring, paint, furniture and bathroom is nice. We rented cabin 12, it is the last on one in the row. The cabins are out by the road and then a nice paved road (pretty short walk) and the main hotel is a short walk to the beach. The pillows weren’t bad and the bed was very comfortable. “Negatives: Our room was dingy, outdated, and not cleaned as expected. The doorknob/door didn’t work right and there were almost no plug-ins in the room.
The pool/hot tub area was outdated (lots of rust) and had a very strong chlorine smell. Every time we went to the pool there were no towels. It could be hard to get help as staff weren’t regularly at the front desk. Mini-golf was dilapidated and best for very young children.
