“The check in was fine. Room looked fine. However, when my husband lay on the bed we found the mattress was cracked about a third of the way across. Never seen anything like it. We don’t even know how someone could make the bed like that. Did no one report this cracked bed? Why would they just rent that out? “We traveled 8 hours for a funeral and arrived at 1:30pm. We were hoping for an early check in but were told that no king rooms had been cleaned yet. The clerk took my phone number and said that she would call when a room became available, but we never got a call. The entire lobby was under construction for renovations but this information was not on their website. This property is not a hotel, has no elevators, and is a motel with individual outside doors.
