“Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites.
The Breakfast was excellent.”

“Paul e Sarah sono due persone molto gentili e cordiali e ci hanno accolti nella loro splendida casa. La struttura è immersa nel verde consentendo, quindi, di staccare completamente la spina dalla quotidianità.
È stato molto bello fare colazione assaggiando prodotti tipici preparati dalla fattoria dei due titolari. ”

“Lovely staff but unfortunately the room is not fit for purpose, food is decent
Was showed room 8 but window broken (35 degree heat) & was given option for room9 a twin.
*hole in floor trip hazard
*curtain didnt open/close properly
*no side lqmp*
*Sheets scratchy
*broken floor tiles en suite
*shower rusty
Was given a fan v grateful for but filthy & throwing off bits, cleaned it but not acceptable”

“We stayed a night after spending the day at Oldfield Forge. The property was lovely and well kept with a very big room. The owner was super helpful and the breakfast the next day was great. We really recommend this property for anyone staying in the area.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms.
They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay.
Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep.
We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊”

“Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time.”
