“EXCELLENT GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT. HANDY ACCESS AT BACK GATE TO OUR CAR WHICH WAS PARKED AT THE SIDE. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, PLENTY OF HOT WATER AND ALL MOD CONS. EDZELL IS A LOVELY SMALL TOWN WITH SOME GREAT WALKS NEARBY. EMILY WAS A PERFECT HOST WHO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US ON ARRIVAL. WE WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION IN STAYING HERE AGAIN.”

“Absolutely fabulous apartment. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen area is incredibly well equipped and the host left a generous amount of treats. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby if you don’t want to cook. It is on the main road so there is daytime traffic noise but it is lovely and quiet at night. The host provided lots of information on the area prior to arrival and there is additional information in the visitor’s folder in the flat. WiFi was good. Always managed to get...

“We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. ”

“We wanted self catering accommodation that was not isolated that we can just chill out if we want to and this fits the bill. It is an easy walk into Ballater for shops restaurants etc. very central to explore the local area and there are some great walks. The accommodation is clean and well presented and has everything you need and the owners were helpful and friendly but left you in peace. I would certainly stay again if in the area. ”

“We very much enjoyed using the apartment. The sofas were comfortable, the rooms had good closet space, the beds were also comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially liked being able to walk to the Co-op and the fact that a pharmacy close by. We would definitely return if we are headed to the Aberdeen area. ”
