Excellent

Excellent family run apartments, staff all very willing to assist. Food can be cooked if ordered well in advance, and there is a take away menu in the room but aside from breakfast, there is not really a restaurant. however, this is really an apartment, and as such it is excellent. Would definitely return here and recommend without hesitation.

Room is spacious. Hotel is clean and nice.

15 cedi ride to airport (good deal). Came back at 3am two nights in a row, owner was able to open the gate.

市内中心部からは遠いけど快適なホテルです。

　とにかく到着するまでが一苦労・・・。タクシー運転手に伝えてもなかなか辿り着けないので、できれば事前にホテルに連絡して、行き方を詳しく聞いた方が良いかも・・・。地図と住所と電話番号はプリントアウトしておいた方が良いです！ただ、部屋はガーナにしてはものすごく快適で、フロントの方々もみんな親切で良い方々でした。ぜひまた機会あれば利用したいと思います。市中心部からは離れていますがバスを2-3本乗り継げば1ドル強1時間弱で行けます！タクシーでも8-10ドルほど（空港タクシーには15-20ドルくらいって言われると思いますが）。

Office Manager and Hotel Policies

The hotel staff was excellent except for the office manager who tried to add addtional costs when I checked out after having been told at checked in I did not need to pay the costs. Outside of that, excellent service of breakfast and food was good, maid service was excellent, kitchenette was fully functional, front desk service was excellent and very helpful, internet service was good. Hotel has backup generator which was activated quickly after power outages and internets service were brought back online also.

Attractive and clean hotel

The hotel is well maintained and attractive with spacious, clean rooms and courteous staff. It compares very well with other hotels stayed at in Ghana.

Calabash Green Executive Apartments

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! its about 15 mins (no traffic) from the airport. I was delayed by one night in Istanbul and missed my first night stay at the hotel. Upon arriving in Accra, i did not have my bags and finally reached the hotel around 1am the night after i was due to check in. The receptionist Ice is an amazing man, he gave me slippers, made me feel totally welcome and gave me a larger suite for my troubles. This is a guest house with a difference. It was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was huge and I almost felt like I should have stayed my whole trip at this hotel, instead of moving to a more costly one booked by our wedding party. No regrets at all at this hotel. Breakfast was also quite nice. Honestly, after all the trouble i had getting to Accra, having Ice look after me was a welcome relief. I would definitely recommend!

LOVELY ENVIRONMENT IN AN ESTATE

It was just a night, though short i was pleased. arrived very late at 11pm. Calld the reception on phone and she was waiting for the cab outside. they didnt have any meals again but they still went out to a restaurant to buy for us.

Best hotel in Accra for the price. Staff very helpful breakfast served every morning, closet and dresser drawer space to unpack clothes and hang up items

great hotel for short or extended stay in Ghana

Best hotel for the price and I will be coming back whenever I come to Ghana. Hotel staff execellent and very helpful all the time. Very courteous and polite. Rooms very spacious and have closets and drawers for clothing stoage to unpack into.

Clean, neat and spacious rooms.

My stay at the hotel was spoilt by the very lumpy mattress and shaky bed. Therefore, my experience was coloured by my uncomfortable nights. The hotel itself isn't bad but if it doesn't cater for lunch and dinner and is a way off any eateries, I would have expected that the otherwise well appointed kitchen ought to have a stove. Change the mattresses and provide cooking utensils/restaurant and the hotel's ratings would go up. I didn't think it was worth the amount I paid.

Calabash Green - Accra's friendliest Lodging

Talk about great service! I am from Northern California, visiting a friend in Accra, but on a completely different time. I always woke up for breakfast at least an hour or more after they served it to guests, but they always made sure to accommodate me, even at the late hour. I even requested something not on the menu, and a staff member left the property to honor my request, at no charge. Every single person was attentive and professional, but somehow made me feel welcome as if I was at my own home. Beautiful grounds, great upkeep, especially considering the lack of water. Huge rooms, all were like a jr. suite here in the states. Nice, clean tile floors, massive shower and bathroom, comfy beds, no cramped facility here! I have vowed to them that I will never even think of staying anywhere but Calabash Green during my next visit to Accra. Classy, modern, free wifi nearly always worked, cannot say enough good about the place. Must be the friendliest lodging in Ghana, and that is no easy feat - everyone is friendly!

Dieses Haus ist kein Hotel im eigentlichen Sinne. Alle Räume sinf Apartments mit großem kombinierten Schlaf- und Wohnraum, dazu großes Bad und extra Toilette, sowie eine große Küche. Sie können also selbst kochen. Natürlich lohnt sich das nur für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Im Haus wird kontinentales Frühstück angeboten, ist inklusive. Ein Restaurant ist nicht vorhanden, man ist also auf andere Restaurants angewiesen, die sich auch in der Nähe befinden. Der Service ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbreit. Der Preis ist gut, das Hotel liegt aber außerhalb von Accra, in den Westlands. Taxi-Ptreise sind äußerst unterschiedlich, Airport zu Hotel 25 cedi, Hotel zu Airport 10 cedi

Very good, but far away from city center.

We were comfortable in the hotel. The bed, air conditioning, warm water and cleanliness were fine. The kitchen was a plus. Staff was helpful about suggesting restaurants and for obtaiining taxis for us. The downside is the location which is quite a distance from the city and the traffic is quite bad, so commuting was very time consuming.

Nice hotel, but to far from the hotel. Make sure that u have ur receipt from the internet because once I got there i had to pay additional cost. Not a good breakfast. On the front porch breakfast of egg whites and bread. But a well maintenance hotel.

Great stay at Calabash.

I really enjoyed my stay at Calabash Green. The service was impeccable. Issac and the other staff members went out of their way to ensure my comfort. I was very impressed with their attentiveness. The room was immaculate. Overall, a very comfrotable and pleasant stay at Calabash Green. I highly recommend. The suite was very large. I think this is perfect for a long term stay especially if in a group. Loads of room.

Had to keep going to the desk to use the phone. could not receive calls. politeness not consistent. rudeness, quite often. felt more like a family home that a business. constant hassling for tips, bordering on hostility. staff was blocking phone calls from friends. lack of privacy.

Review of Calabash Green Apartments Accra

I stayed at the Calabash Green Apertments for 7 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to provide assistance and solutions to my requirements. The security of the apartments is excellent with 24hours constant electricity and water supply. I recommend this hotel and have chosen it as the hotel I will always stay while in Accra.

Great place to spend time in Accra

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were very respectful and easy to work with. I highly recommend this hotel to all. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
