The hotel information needs to be reviewed and made more accurate. It was a clean accommodation but not 3*. Breakfast was a couple slices of bread and a mug of hot drink and there were no restaurants nearby. When we asked about the onsite restaurant, we were told it's the same meal of jolly rice and chicken daily. The expectation for being 9 min drive from the centre was more like 45 mins. The area was pleasant and Accra is a really nice place to visit.

Hi Oluwatoyin. Im not sure whatever gave you the idea that we are a 9 minute drive to the airport. Cany you please let me know where you obtained that information? We are able to offer many dishes both throughout the day and for breakfast so again im not sure where you obtained that information either. There are also many other restaurants nearby that you seem not to be aware of

Nice place but not near anything
The management is pleasant and helpful, the rooms are nice for what you pay. The location is a long way from anything you want to see or do - Accra is a megalopolis and this is in the urban sprawl. Uber or Bolt are inexpensive, so that doesn't rule it out. Definitely a place to consider for those who are trying to save money.

Thank you so much for your kind review. With regards to our location i would just like to sayythat there is also a lot going on to the weat of Accra with less crowded beaches and slso West Hills Shopping Mall.

Great value
This hotel is great value for money and has a lovely quiet atmosphere. Rooms are exceptionally, clean, tidy and up to date. Staff are always on hand without being obtrusive or overbearing. Its a place where you can truly relax

Property is just going through an excellent upgrade. Hospitality and cleanliness are first rate. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. Great experience.

Fantastic bargain
I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend the Golden Apple. Staff are friendly and helpful, my room was spacious and comfortable and beautifully furnished and location was excellent for my busy day In all it was an absolute bargain and i will be booking again for more days before returning home.

I booked the property for a 1 night stay after arriving in Accra from London and thinking i would then look around for somewhere else for the rest of my stay. I have been so impressed by the property and staff that i have decided to stay for the duration. The Golden Apple provides everything i need and for a fabulous price. It is convenient for town and beach but in a quiet residential area. The facilities are spotlessly clean and the staff are so delightful and helpful. The food is great too, my room is spacious and comfortable (especially the bed) and it feels like a home from home experience. The Golden Apple definitely lives up to its claim of "affordable luxury".

It was so amazing to be in such a calm environment at the height of the Corona virus outbreak. All sensible precautions had been taken without any drama. Everywhere was very clean and up to date and the staff, especially the manager Elvis, were so helpful and kind. A trul memorable experience

Amazing value
First class facilities and service for budget Guest House prices. My room was spacious and very comfortable, the staff were attentive and friendly without being intrusive and it was very conveniently situated for all I had to do. I would thoroughly recommend The Golden Apple for anyone travelling on a budget or basically anyone who wants to save some money but also enjoy first class facilities. Real modern up to date Ghana

Exceptional value
Having spent a lot of money on one of the supposedly posh hotel chains, it was a revelation to discover that you can get a better room and service for a tenth of the price. Additionally I really enjoyed being in a real African community. The staff were lovely, the facilities were great and my room was very stylish and comfortable. Also everything worked as it should. A big thank you to Elvis and all the staff at The Golden Apple

Great hospitality
I frequently travel to Ghana always on a budget and I know where I will be staying on my future visits. The place is modern and very smart and the service and hospitality cannot be faulted. It isn't easy to find quality budget accommodation in this part of Africa and I would thoroughly recommend The Golden Apple to anybody in my situation. Great recent renovation on the ground floor too

Gorgeous refurbishment
I have stayed here before and will always come back. Every time I come there has been further investment and the place has has a really lovely new ground floor refurbishment. My room was very tastefully decorated, spacious and with all modern facilities. The staff were extremely professional and the food was great. You really can't fault the facilities and you can enjoy luxury on a budget

Excellent value
If you are travelling on a budget you will get first class facilities and hospitality at this guest house. This was the best value I have experienced in my many visits back to Ghana.

Fantastic for a budget
I travel back to Ghana a lot to visit family and friends and travel on a budget. This place is definitely in the top bracket of budgets. It was clean and smart and fashionable. It was conveniently located for all I needed to do and the staff were very friendly and helpful without being in the slightest bit intrusive. And also everything worked.The electricity supply was cut and the generator kicked in immediately, the televisions were new and had every channel imaginable and my bed and my room was so spacious and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here on a regular basis from now on and thoroughly recommend it to anybody else travelling to Ghana on a budget

En blandet fornøjelse
Beskrivelsen af hotellet lever ikke helt op til virkeligheden. Der mangler adskillige af de beskrevne faciliteter og services. Deriblandt topmadras,minibar,toiletartikler,premium tvkanaler. Barerne og resturanterne består af et fællesområde i forbindelse med receptionen og terrassen og et lille køkken. Menuen består af 2 valg og man kan ikke være sikker på at der serveres mad hver aften. Lokalområdet er sikkert men ikke specielt turistvenligt da der er langt til resturanter og almindelige indkøbsmuligheder. På positiv siden er personalet og ejeren meget venlige og imødekommende og eventuelle problemer findes der en løsning på.
