I believe that the landlord must put himself in the tourist's shoes and that s/he should make them feel like home. Tourists arrive tired on holiday, and the onliy thing they wants to do, after arriving in a welcoming and clean house, having unpacked their bags and tidied up, is to relax.
Unfortunately, i did not find all this in this house.
The hosts were on Holiday and gave us a telephone number to contact. This person was also away and after we needed him, he gave us a new contact number.
1: the house is not where it shows on the Google map,in the GPS coordinates. That point is on Mount MWEELIN. If you really want to know the exact point where you are renting and reach the house without getting lost for 3 hours, you have to look for the house in Salia.
2: the house has been vacant for 6 months the walls were cold & damp, found pillow with signs of mold.
3. The house was very dirty. We had to thoroughly clean ourselves. With umand dirt (fake nails on the floor, hair,..) there was that of the building cement dust was still there and could smell it. The kitchen was dirty too.
4.WC and shower in the bathroom were broken. The washer and dryer had not been cleanded, there were monsters in the filters.
5:We could onl obtain Wifi access after two days. Thank you Eileen fo providing this.
We are heartbroken because that house is beautiful but it wasn't ready to be rented. What seems to matter to the landlord is just getting rental money and that's really sad.
