This was easily one of the worst properties I have ever stayed in, and for nearly 5,000, the experience was completely unacceptable. In fact, it was so bad that we ended up checking out three days early. The moment we walked in, the entire house smelled strongly of cat pee? It was obvious the host knew about it, as there were air fresheners plugged into every single room trying to mask the odor. The smell was so overwhelming that we actually had to purchase two air purifiers ourselves just to be able to sleep through the night.Cleanliness and basic accommodations were a major issue across the board. We found dirty dishes put back in the cupboards, including an unwashed frying pan, and the host didn’t even provide basic essentials like dish washcloths. The tap water was also terrible; it was so bad that we bought a Brita filter and left it behind for the next unfortunate guest.The living space was just as disappointing. The couches and throw pillows were old, worn out, and uncomfortable, and the projector TV did not work properly. Oddly, we also did not have access to the stairs inside the house. Outside, the exterior trash cans were overflowing with garbage piled high above the rim, and it sat there rotting for two days before the trash company finally came.To add insult to injury, after we left three days early just to escape the miserable conditions, the host had the audacity to request 50 to replace two towels! Save your money and book somewhere else!!!
