Only smell we could smell was new wood, which doesnt bother her. The staff said they use environmentally conscious cleaning products. “A very nice remodel of a motor court motel with all new interior, heating, and plumbing. Comfortable with large TV and nice beds. Very clean. Future additions might include a microwave oven, coffee cups for the coffee maker, and some wall decor. Overall, a very nice room for basecamp to local adventures..”

“I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

“It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”
