The house is located inside the natural reserve of "Parco dell'Etna": a perfect position to enjoy Sicily from a naturalistic point of view.
It is close to the main mountain huts located on mount Etna and to many adventure parks.
The location is ideal for hiking on the beautiful trails of mount Etna. It is also 25 kms away from the cable way station of "Rifugio Sapienza" that is the access point to the top of the volcano.
Le Vigne Countryside House is a splendid villa surrounded by vineyards on the slopes of Etna.
The original building dates back to about 100 years ago and underwent several renovations at the end of the last century. It has recently been modernized to guarantee its guests all the modern comforts such as an air conditioning system for heating and cooling the rooms, a wifi connection fast enough to work or play, a new kitchen (renovated in 2022) and fully equipped (with induction hob, oven and a Nespresso coffee machine), a washing machine, a barbecue and even a wood-burning oven at the rear of the house.
Le Vigne Countryside House is also particularly attentive to sustainability. Resources like water are very important, especially on an island, and that's why 100% of the water you use at home is rainwater, carefully collected and purified.
Even the water heating system is totally sustainable, thanks to solar energy.
Our goal is to achieve total sustainability, both in terms of energy and the environment.
The position of the house is unique and allows you to have a unique and privileged point of view on Etna. From the terrace it is possible to admire the spectacular eruptions of the highest volcano in Europe in total safety and enjoy an unparalleled marvel.
The house is fully equipped with everything needed for both long and short stays.
The house is surrounded by several fruit trees: feel free to pick and eat these fruits to make your stay even more authentic. (Availability of fruit depends on the time of year).
Guests will have access to the entire house, the big terrace surrounding it and the area below, where it is also possible to park the vehicles in total safety inside the property.
