“It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

“The most beautiful room we have ever had with stunning sea views and a great roof terrace that gets very busy. The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

L’ambientazione del ristorante ci è piaciuta molto, e anche il cibo è stato all’altezza. il personale è gentile e ci è stato molto di aiuto nel riorganizzare il nostro volo interno per Johannesburg, visto che il volo originario ci era stato cancellato. “In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa.”

“Village Square 6 was beautifully furnished as a self catering unit. It is spacious and has a beautiful ocean view and within a stone's throw from the main road with shopping and restaurant. It was well equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I will visit again. ”
