“The staff were a delight; the location, however, was in disrepair. The pool area was not maintained well; the ceiling and walls were crumbling. I think they might have been in the middle of renovating the carpet in the hallways? The carpeting was cut but there was no molding to keep the seams flat, so we tripped over the carpet multiple times and not once did any member of staff mention anything about renovation efforts. Breakfast was okay. We have stayed here in the past and had NONE of these...

The cottage gave us the privacy of having our own little getaway while still enjoying all the amenities of the Anchor Inn. “The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”
