“Good place to stay it was clean,quiet and away from traffic”

“The property was clean, well-kept, Staff was friendly and welcoming, breakfast was wonderful, and the Crabtree & Evelyn soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were great!”

“My room was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and professional. The Beer Garden restaurant at the hotel has great roadhouse/pub fare with very reasonable prices and generous portions. The outdoor pool was clean and warm. The included breakfast provided a variety of tasty options. I came for a convention and the staff was very accommodating of all attendees. I will stay here again next year.”

“I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was, and it appears to have been recently renovated. If I were passing through and needed a place to stay, I would not hesitate to stay there again. My only complaint if you want to call it that is that you were not within walking distance of any restaurants.”

“The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...

“I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!”
