Welcome to Baia di Trentova, our family-run guesthouse in Agropoli, on the Cilento Coast in Southern Italy.

When you stay with us, the entire guesthouse is yours. You'll have five comfortable double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and private sea-view terrace, along with a spacious dining room, a professional kitchen and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy together.

It's a wonderful place for five couples, a group of friends or a family traveling together. Everyone has their own space and privacy, but there are also lovely places to gather, share meals and spend time together.

We're surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean greenery, with beautiful views towards the sea. And because our family lives right next door, we're always nearby if you need anything, while respecting your privacy.


A WARM WELCOME FROM OUR FAMILY

We know that arriving somewhere new after a long journey can be tiring. That's why we'd like to make your first evening as relaxing as possible.

On your arrival day, Nonna Maria will prepare a homemade dinner for your group, using the traditional recipes she's been cooking for our family for years. Local wine and other drinks are included, so all you need to do is settle in and enjoy your first evening in Cilento.

The following morning, we'll prepare our usual generous Italian breakfast, with a selection of sweet and savory dishes, homemade cakes, local specialties and, of course, good Italian coffee.

Both the welcome dinner, including drinks, and breakfast on your first morning are included in your stay.

It's our family's way of making you feel at home from the beginning.

Baia di Trentova accommodates up to 10 guests.

Each of our five double bedrooms has its own independent outdoor entrance, private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, minibar and terrace overlooking the sea.

You'll also have exclusive use of:

The kitchen and dining room are normally part of our small family osteria, but during your stay they're entirely yours. The restaurant will be closed to the public, so there will be no other guests or restaurant customers.

You can prepare your own meals, enjoy long dinners together and make yourselves completely at home.

One of the things we love most about Baia di Trentova is its setting.

The property is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean greenery, with views across the Cilento countryside towards the sea.

Every bedroom has its own private terrace, so you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee before joining everyone else.

Our larger panoramic terrace is a favorite place to spend time together, with comfortable sofas and lounge chairs where you can read, enjoy a glass of wine or simply take in the views.

Although we're surrounded by nature, Agropoli's historic center, shops, restaurants and beaches are within easy reach.

DISCOVER A DIFFERENT SIDE OF ITALY

Cilento is still relatively unknown to many international travelers, and that's part of what makes it special.

Here you'll find beautiful beaches, ancient villages, olive groves, family-run wineries, wonderful food and a slower pace of life.

From Baia di Trentova, you can explore Trentova Bay, wander through Agropoli's historic center, visit the Greek temples of Paestum or spend an afternoon in Castellabate, one of the prettiest villages along the coast.

There are also local markets, buffalo mozzarella farms, small wineries, countryside walks, boat trips and plenty of little restaurants serving traditional Cilento dishes.

Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast are also possible day trips.

We're always happy to share our favorite places and help you plan your days.

COOKING, FOOD & LOCAL EXPERIENCES

Food has always been a big part of our family life.

Alongside the welcome dinner prepared by Nonna Maria, we can arrange other experiences for your group if you'd like to discover more of our local traditions.

You could join Nonna Maria in the kitchen to learn how to make fresh pasta, visit the local market with us, enjoy another homemade family dinner or have breakfast prepared for you on the terrace.

We can also help organize wine tastings, visits to local food producers, guided excursions and boat trips.

These experiences are optional and available at an additional cost.

WE'RE HERE IF YOU NEED US

We're Adriana and Oreste, and our family lives next door in a separate residence.

One of the things we enjoy most is helping people discover the Cilento we know and love.

We're happy to recommend a favorite restaurant, suggest a beautiful village to visit, help with transportation or answer any questions during your stay.

But we also know how important privacy is when you're traveling with family or friends.

The entire guesthouse, including the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, terraces and guest outdoor spaces, will be reserved exclusively for your group.

There will be no other guests, and our restaurant will remain closed to the public throughout your stay.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR OUR FAMILY

After 22 years of welcoming guests from around the world, we've decided to try something new: offering our entire guesthouse exclusively to one family or group of friends at a time.

We're new to Vrbo, but certainly not new to hospitality. Over the years, Baia di Trentova has received hundreds of wonderful reviews, including a 5/5 rating on Tripadvisor, where we're ranked #1 among B&Bs in Agropoli.

We're excited to begin this new chapter and share our little corner of Cilento in a different way, while keeping everything our guests have always appreciated: a personal welcome, homemade food and the feeling of being part of our family.

One bedroom is on the ground floor; the other four are reached by approximately 20 outdoor steps

Not suitable for children under 12 due to outdoor staircases and elevated terraces

Pets are not accepted

Smoking is permitted outdoors only

No parties or events with outside visitors
