Hotel a Ainderby Steeple

“The staff were very welcoming and friendly, very helpful. The location was perfect, the food spot on. Couldn’t be happier. Great atmosphere.”

“Staff were amazing 10/10 Food amazing Very accommodating Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10”

“Perfect stop for a long journey”

“I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. During both stays I have come down for a continental breakfast either at 7.45am or 8.30am only to find the through door into the breakfast area was locked and no one around to give access. This meant I had to go to a nearby shop to buy breakfast at an extra cost to me even though it was already part of my booking cost. On both occasions complained afterwards to the pub manager and received no apology as he stated breakfast was at...

“The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

“Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!”

“Good food and comfortable room”

“Personale cortese ed accogliente, parcheggio ampio, poca scelta birre locali, menù discreto, camere confortevoli anche se mancava una scrivania per lavorare, vasca al posto della doccia ”

“Clean & comfortable space. Helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast! Location was great for our travel (1 mile from local train station.)”

“Very nice, big room. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lovely pub. Great cooked breakfast. Friendly, good value for money.”

“Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.”

“Helpful staff , excellent room”

“There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite. Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration. With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...

“The room was nice and the bedding was amazing. Only thing to spoilt it was the such noisy plumbing, seriously, a tap on , toilet flick and shower was shocking, A poor nights sleep and the pipes were banging. Friendly staff but I couldn’t stay because of the noise x”

“We returned here this year after enjoyjng our stay last year and we were again very happy. The staff friendliness, lovely very comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast did not disappoint. Being able to have dinner in the restaurant is a definate plus with not having to go out after a long day driving. We would definitely recommend staying here.”

“The lady that greeted us was lovely and she then told us where our room was. We hoped to eat in the hotel but was told that the chef had called in unable to cook. I tried to find out if we could get breakfast next morning but nobody came back to us. Nobody told us how to exit the building in an emergency and when we left the next morning at 9.45 we had to let ourselves out and leave the keys on the bar having seen no one! Middleham itself is beautiful and the hotel ideally situated but it let...
