Welcome to L’Échappée, a charming, renovated one-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Aix-en-Provence’s historic city centre, just 25 metres from Cours Mirabeau.

Enjoy an exceptional location for exploring the city on foot, with Provençal markets, restaurants, cafés, shops and iconic squares just steps away.

Fully equipped, the apartment is ideal for a stay for two in the heart of Aix-en-Provence’s lively city centre.

The Apartment

Located on the ground floor of a traditional building in the historic centre, the apartment has been renovated and thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and functional living space.

The apartment includes:

A living area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen featuring a compact refrigerator, hob, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, storage space, kitchenware and cooking utensils.

A lounge area with two armchairs and a television.

A bedroom with a comfortable 160 × 200 cm double bed.

A bathroom with a shower.

A separate toilet.

A travel cot for babies.

Wi-Fi.

A portable air-conditioning unit and a fan.

Important information about air conditioning:

The apartment is equipped with a portable air-conditioning unit, which requires an exhaust hose to be positioned towards the outside.

Please note that this is not a fixed or central air-conditioning system. Due to regulations applicable to Aix-en-Provence’s historic city centre, the installation of a fixed air-conditioning system is not permitted in the apartment.

Bed linen and towels are provided, including bed sheets, one bath towel per person, a bath mat and kitchen towels.

Upon arrival, you will find the following essentials to help you get started.

Please note that these supplies are provided as a complimentary starter kit and are not replenished during your stay:

Laundry detergent and basic cleaning products.

Two rolls of toilet paper per toilet and shower gel.

Sugar, tea and coffee (one serving per person).

Oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

Parking

The apartment does not have a private parking space.

It may be possible to stop briefly in front of the building to unload your luggage, depending on the traffic and access restrictions in the historic centre.

Several paid public car parks are available nearby:

Parking Carnot – The closest option, located on Boulevard Carnot, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parties, noise and visitors

Out of respect for the neighbours, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

Playing loud music is strictly forbidden.

The apartment is reserved exclusively for the guests listed on the reservation. Outside visitors are not permitted without prior approval.

L’Échappée is located in the very heart of Aix-en-Provence’s historic city centre.

This exceptional location allows you to enjoy the city’s restaurants, cafés, markets, shops and lively atmosphere entirely on foot.

Please note: As the apartment is situated in a central and lively area, occasional noise from city-centre activity may be heard.

We prefer to make you aware of this in advance so that you can book with full knowledge of the surroundings.

Check-in and Check-out

Before your arrival, you will receive all the necessary information regarding access to the apartment, along with practical instructions for your stay.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM, with self-check-in.

Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance.

Check-out: Before 10:00 AM.

Any request for early check-in or late check-out must be made no later than 6:00 PM on the previous day and is subject to availability.

Optional services:

Early check-in from 12:00 PM: €25.

Early check-in from 1:00 PM: €20.

Late check-out until 12:00 PM: €25.

🚆 Aix-en-Provence Centre Train Station

The city-centre train station is within walking distance of the apartment and provides connections to Marseille and various regional destinations.

🚌 Aix-en-Provence Bus Station

The Aix-en-Provence bus station serves numerous destinations and also provides connections to Aix-en-Provence TGV station and Marseille Provence Airport.

🚄 Aix-en-Provence TGV Station

The high-speed train station is located outside the city centre.

The A2 shuttle bus connects Aix-en-Provence’s central bus station with the TGV station and Marseille Provence Airport.

✈️ Marseille Provence Airport

The airport is directly connected to Aix-en-Provence bus station by the A2 shuttle, with departures approximately every 30 minutes.
