This lovely guest house is attached to the owner’s main house on 4 acres of land. The two room house is nicely outfitted with everything one might need for a short stay like ours was, or a longer stay. We will not hesitate to stay here again and with family and friends in the area, we are sure to be back often.
As resident of Gainesville and Alachua County for 40 years and having just moved to North Carolina in June, the location of this house was appealing to me because it is in an area of the county I have always enjoyed. It is truly in the country, but just a hop from the western edge of Gainesville, Jonesville and Alachua. It didn’t even occur to me when I booked this home that this was UF’s graduation weekend. I am certain had I looked at hotel rooms (which I didn’t), that I would not have been able to find one available, let alone one at the rate per night we paid for this house. Additionally, they allowed us to bring our Corgi with us.
Thank you, Sally and Andres, for sharing your home with us. We hope to see you again soon!
