“The hotel is five years old yet it looks and smells brand new. The beds were extremely comfortable, water pressure in the shower was excellent and the room was very clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the kids loved using the clean pool. We will definitely stay here again.”

“The room had bad bugs. When it was reported to the front desk they were unable to do anything about it. We contacted Expedia and they reported that the hotel staff indicated the room was is good order. Why would we leave a "good order" room at 11:30 at night..IT HAD BE BUGS OVER OVER THE SHEETS!”

“You could tell most of the staff didn't want to be there. The TV didn't work the entire time we were there and the girl who was doing the breakfast was rude and miserable; I get being a server is difficult - I worked in the service industry for 18 years - she's either burnt out or just naturally has a terrible attitude. Overall it's a shrug.”

“Blue Gem motel was the perfect stay for us for our weekend event at Camp Kulaqua which was only a few minutes down the road. I was a lil hesitant since it was a “motel”. However the room was nicely decorated and spacious. The bed was a super comfy king bed. I travel a lot and was impressed with how comfortable I slept. The AC was nice and cold. “This hotel was not what we expected. Very busy loud and when we checked in the room It was late and we were tired and just wanted to get some rest. When we were getting the sofa sleeper open to sleep in the mattress had urine stains on them. We were very upset went down to the desk to try to get a different room and there wasn’t one so we ended up leaving.”
