Spacious luxury 8 bed room and 4 bathroom house conveniently located steps away from Towamensing trails lake and community center. Game room with Pool table, Ping Pong, Air hockey, and Shuffle board. Very close to major Pocono attractions (White Water rafting/Kayaking/Canoeing, Paint ball, Skiing, Horseback riding, Biking/Hiking trails, Pocono Raceway, Wineries, Fishing, etc).

Accurate and timely communications from the owner. House is very spacious for large groups. Kids room was excellent for the smaller children. Would definitely stay again.

Love the layout of the house and the space. The bedrooms are perfect for a large group. The games on the first level are fun, and the bottom patio is particularly appealing. I could have sat out there all day! We have owned and rented property ourselves, so we are perhaps, extra picky. Owners have little to no control over the job the cleaners do, but this house was not incredibly clean when we arrived. Crumbs and dirt in the kitchen cabinets where cookware is kept were unappealing. Using the wrong products on floors and surfaces makes them sticky, as was the case. The house is so beautiful and set up so well, but the furniture is uncomfortable, the couches in particular. We were never able to get the fireplace to come on, even after messaging with the owner. My husband and I loved the hot tub! But the rules? Way over the top. I'm sure the owners have had some bad experiences with short term renters, but don't take it out on those of us who follow the rules! Start a load of laundry? Really? Is this common...and how closeby are the owners if they want us to start a load of laundry?! Also, all of the signs about makeup removal only using the black washcloths? Soooooo....you're not going to worry about cleaning the black towels and washcloths because the dirt won't show? This is a great house, but it doesn't seem like one the owners are loving for their own use so much as for rental income, and it shows.

Family Lake Week Vacation

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the Wolf Run Lodge. The house provided lots of room, both indoors and outdoors, for our family of 10 adults and 6 children (ages 2 - 10). Everyone enjoyed the downstairs game room with lots of fun activities available and the big dining table with enough room for everyone to eat together. The high chair and beautiful pack and play were appreciated too! We all especially liked the location of the house. It was just a short walk to the beach, pool and playground. Everyone enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood and visits from lots of deer in the evenings. David and Nicole were great hosts. Wolf Run Lodge will be fondly remembered as our 2025 Lake Week Vacation home.

Just as described

Our stay was because my wife turned 70 we had the whole family there. It was absolutely wonderful. Property was clean. Amenities were good. Location was good. The only negative thing I have to say about this day. Was the fireplace we tried to get it to work. We called the property manager.. he tried to help us, but we just couldn’t turn it on. Everything else was great. Just wish we had a fireplace cause it was cold that weekend.

Family ski weekend

We were a party of 20. Three generations: 12 adults and 8 children from 4 to 14. The house is spacious,well equipped and conveniently located to ski areas. Check-in was seamless. David and Nicole were perfect hosts and very responsive to any question that arose. When we discovered a shortness of forks, I contacted David simply to give him a heads up since we were making do… but David decided to send an “emergency shipment”of forks… going above and beyond. When weather forecasts were worrisome on our departure day, David was flexible in granting us an hour later check-out time. It was a great stay in a very comfortable home with all the amenities one might want.

Great stay for large groups

Booked this stay with a large group to ski at blue Mountain, which is approximately 30 minutes away. It was a spacious house with three floors to comfortably accommodate our group. Lots of games / lawn games in the basement! The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything needed to cook a large family dinner. Everything was clean, modern and nicely decorated. Everybody in our group had a great stay!

Wonderful time at Wolf Run Lodge!

This property was beautiful! It comfortably housed me, my family, and my friends. The kids loved the games on the first floor and they spent most of their time playing there. The dining table was exceptional, and it was perfect for our Thanksgiving feast. We enjoyed the hot tub as well, which felt nice after walking around the neighborhood and taking in the scenery. Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I'm looking forward to coming back again.

Family Fun in the Poconos

We had our entire family consisting of 10 Adults and 10 children ( 3-16 ). The Wolf Lodge provided everything we needed to insure a wonderful family vacation. The house handled my entire family in fine order with 8 BR, 4 full baths, 10 TVs , well appointed kitchen and a great game room (Pool Table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, wet bar). Community pool and lake completed all the elements for a fine stay. Owner was very responsive when we reached out with questions. Area provides numerous options for fun and adventures. Nearby fishing, white water rafting and the very nice and interesting town of Jim Thorpe kept our group well entertained

Great family vacation!!!

David and Nicole were fantastic!!! From the moment we booked Wolf Run Lodge we knew we were in great hands for our one week vacation with the family. The house was EXACTLY how it was described in the listing. Perfect location, immaculately clean and comfortable for our family of 10 (with extra bedrooms for more!). Ages were 3-64 and had space for everyone’s relaxation or fun!! Pool table, ping pong, games and of course popcorn machine !! Hot tub was relaxing after a long day at the beach or pool. The kitchen was so organized it wasn’t hard to find anything you needed. We even hired a chef for a night and she commented how wonderful the kitchen was to work in. The location was perfect, close to the pool, beach and playground. Day trips to Jim Thorpe train ride was easy to get to as well as Boulder Lake. Dave was extremely responsive during our entire trip. Whenever I had a question he was quick to reply and wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!!! Thanks Dave and Nicole!!!

Great family get together

We had 6 adults and 5 kids in our group, and there was plenty of room in the house to accommodate all of us. Between the pool/beach/lake, the game room and all of the local activities, we always had plenty to do. I didn’t realize just how close the house is situated relative to the pool/beach/lake, making it a very easy walk. The house came with plenty of supplies and appliances. We communicated several times with the owners, before and throughout our stay, and they were very responsive and accommodating. Just a few small things to note for future guests: - There are only 8 passes to the community center, and they have people checking to make sure you’re wearing (not just in possession of) them on your wrist. - You cannot bring your own canoes/kayaks to the lake. - A lot of the places in the area are closed on Wednesdays. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better home for our family vacation!

The house was so beautiful…

Everything was so clean and perfect for our family getaway! It was a lot of us and we fit perfectly, super spacious and definitely a great area for kids. My daughters loved it, we all enjoyed ourselves for sure. Thank you soo much, I hope to be able to return again but during the summer time.

In anticipation of a family weekend celebrating a special occasion, we scouted numerous properties. Wolf Run Lodge met all our criteria perfectly. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring every detail was attended to in this stunning residence. The spacious, meticulously furnished bedrooms with cozy beds comfortably accommodated our group of 12. Everyone had a great time playing pool and ping pong. The weekend surpassed our expectations, thanks to the hosts for graciously sharing their fantastic home with us.

Great house; convenient to slopes

20 of us recently stayed at David's house for an annual family get together/ski weekend. We were 12 adults and 8 children in all. The house is spacious, very well equipped with all the amenities one might want. Beds and bedding were exceedingly comfortable. David was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive in communication. We hope to return and recommend this home to others without reservation.

Family Thanksgiving

This was the perfect house and location for our extended family holiday celebration. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our Thanksgiving Feast, the bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable and the other amenities provided everything we needed. David & Nicole were very responsive to our questions and made the check in and check out process very easy. The community where the house is located is very nice and convenient to great hiking and other activities. Would highly recommend this property for a large group.
