If you want to get away from the everyday stress and work, this is your place. “This location was perfect for our weekend trip to New River Gorge. The house had everything we needed and we loved the big screened in porch and river view. Definitely recommend going less than 10 mins up the road to the Sandstone Falls Boardwalk.”

“The cadin was what I expected. True to the pictures. It was very clean. I chose this place to get closer to God and that was what i got. My only suggestion to the property's owners is that the screening around the porch be fixed. It let in some yellow jackets and a couple got in the house. Would not be good if somebody staying there got stung and was allergic to them. Overall, I would go back.”

“The home is lovely. The road to get to the home is a little survey and the road narrows, just an FYI. Only a few issues. With all of the fireplaces / pits, I assumed there would at least have been a starter package of fire wood. A reminder that there isn't would have been helpful due to the roads to get in and out of the location. Also the gas did not have propane, we had to run out and pay for the propane ourselves. “The place was very small and cut up. It was dirty and had ants all in the kitchen. Every room was in some form dirty including showers and toilets. Dangerous stairs to get upstairs and down. Found slugs in basement where two bedrooms were located. Water dripped out of the ceiling onto kitchen counter. Dirty inside cabinets, drawers etc. no where near worth the amount per night. Completely unacceptable. Reached out to owner and her response was that she cleaned it when she was there. Some areas...

“We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!”

“We came for a wedding at Pipestem Resort State Park. We all had the option of staying at the resort, however we chose otherwise. It was so cozy and such a cute little cabin. We enjoyed having our own space and being able to have our own bedroom. The host has thought of everything that anyone could possibly need. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The scenery is breathtaking!! Highly highly recommend this place!”
