Beautiful Waterfront Private Home and Large Covered Boat Dock. 3 Bedrooms total. Master with King bed on 2nd floor with Panoramic view of Islands and Canadian shore. Boldt Castle. Large Full Master Bath with Double Sinks and Walk-in Closet and Smart TV.
Lower level Queen Bedroom and a TwinBedroom. Laundry Room and Full Bathroom with Tub/Shower. Large Living Room. The kitchen is fully supplied with all you need to cook at home.
Large front deck with ample seating and grill. Enclosed back porch with additional seating. Large seating area at dock level. Some life preservers are available for adults. Fully stocked kitchen and linens. Renters age 30 and above. 1 pet allowed for an additional $200, $100 refundable fee if no issues found.

River Bliss

We 6 loved the house. The master bedroom is amazing. We watched ships pass by from the window seat upstairs or the lovely deck facing the river. The boat lift was an added bonus especially when it got windy the one day. We will come back. The house was well stocked in the kitchen

Excellent place in Alex Bay

My whole family loved staying here! The view is incredible! Elaine is super helpful and the neighbors are as nice as can be. Our teenagers had a blast fishing off the dock and kayaks. We took our jet skis to Singer Castle and Alex Bay easily.The house is lovely!

St Lawerence -The River

It’s been a few years since we stayed up on the River. What a pleasant surprise on the cleanliness and excellent accommodations we had all week. All amenities were there, including the use a dock, kayaks and gas grill. The next door neighbors were great. The location is perfect as it’s a short drive to downtown Alexandria Bay. We will be back for sure!

Great rental on the St Lawrence River

Much nicer place than the online photos show. I rent VRBO all the time and this place was one if the best. Very well stocked with the basics , owners were great to deal with and the neighbors were great as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Experience

Just spend a week here. Property was spotless upon our arrival. House was everything advertised and more. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful suggesting Restaurants as well is sites to visit. Caught Fish right off the Dock !! Ellaine and her Team quickly responded to any questions or minor issues we had. I would highly recommend anyone considering this property.!!!

Excellent vacation!

We had the perfect vacation at this home. Great location. Beautiful and comfortable interior with lots of amenities. Fabulous view from the large upstairs master suite. Spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck enjoying the river view and gorgeous sunsets. Elaine, the owner, was very helpful and accessible for any concerns/questions we had. Many thanks, Elaine, for our great vacation!!!We are hoping to rent again next year.

An Amazing property!

This property is a gem. You are sucked in as soon as you see the unbelievable view of the river from the deck and 2nd floor bedroom. It was well maintained with reasonably sized rooms. Its situated conveniently near Alex Bay which makes it easy to get to attractions. The added plus was the deck that our kids could swim off of. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely come back again!

Wonderful place

Having never rented a house in the Thousand Islands we weren't sure what to expect. We have rented for 25 years at the beach in NC and have had some great places and some so-so places. This house (and Elaine) was awesome. It is well supplied with the items that we usually bring along like spices, towels, cleaning supplies, tissues, etc. The kitchen has everything you will need, just bring food. It is an indicator of how Elaine views her guests and wants to make them happy. The property itself is well suited for 6 adults. We had 8 for 4 days and the rear porch worked well for.an air mattress. It isn't air conditioned, but the evenings and nights cool down so that sleeping was not an issue. The view of the river is spectacular from both the downstairs inside, front deck, and the master bedroom. Pictures really don't do it justice. If you have a boat you will love the dockage. It is under cover and has a boat lift so your boat will be dry in the morning, no cover to install every night and your boat will be secure no matter how windy it gets, and it does get windy. There is also room to dock another boat, just not under cover. Also, if you trailer a boat be aware that there is very little parking and the house is on a dead end street so you will need to back around if you pull in with your boat. You will need to launch at Wagoners marina, which is about 3 blocks away and see if they will let you park your trailer there. We rented a pontoon boat from them for the week so they didn't charge us a launch fee or a fee to park the trailer. Elaine said there is public trailer parking in town, but we did not need to use it. About the only items I would say were unexpected was the water pressure seems quite low and bathroom sinks and showers don't drain well. I know this is Elaine's first year, at least with this house, and she is trying to make improvements. The overall experience with the property was about a 9.5 out of 10. Even though the house is very close to other houses, it is very quiet. The house to the left is another VRBO and the house to the right is owner occupied and they are very nice. If you want a quiet vacation you should be okay as long as the rental to the left isn't a family or group that parties. Even then, you have the entire St. Lawrence to go out on for the day. The pontoon rental is a great way to spend the afternoon cruising and anchored in a nice quiet cove and swimming. Absolutely awesome time.

Awesome stay in a beautiful area!

This was our first visit to the 1000 Islands area and we couldn't have had a better stay, especially in regards to this cottage. One warning....the pictures do not do it any justice, the location right on Alex Bay and the condition of the cottage can't be described! Upon arrival we knew we had made the right decision to ditch a downtown hotel for the cottage. And Elaine helped us with every question we had, even recommended where to rent a boat from. If you have the chance, rent this cottage & visit Alex Bay!!! We hope to be back again!

Lovely home with breathtaking views

From the moment we walked in we were taken with the beauty and charm of this lovely home overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The view is absolutely spectacular. You can see Boldt castle to your left up the river and Deer Island owned by the Yale Scull and Bones across the river to the Sunderland group down the river. The sunsets across the river were spectacular almost every night. The property manager lives eight houses down and wants nothing but the best for her guests. It was an absolute joy to feel so much at home there and to be in such a wonderful place.
