Sajama è una casa unica, sostanziale e antica con molto carattere. Ha un giardino grande, bello e recintato, con piscina, area divani con barbecue. Il giardino e la piscina possono essere illuminati di notte.
Ci sono tre grandi terrazze sul tetto su diversi livelli con vista mozzafiato sulla baia di Gibilterra e il Parco Nazionale.
La villa è fresca, confortevole, spaziosa e ben attrezzata.
La piscina può essere riscaldata su richiesta. C'è aria condizionata e riscaldamento in tutte le stanze e due fornelli a legna che mantengono la casa accogliente in inverno.
La casa si trova a un paio di centinaia di metri dalla spiaggia di Getares, all'estremità di Tarifa, nella baia di Algeciras.
Dalla nostra casa i Parchi Nazionali dello Stretto di Gibilterra si fondono con Los Alcornocales per formare un'area verde e incontaminata lungo questa linea costiera protetta e bellissima fino a Cadice.
C'è molto da fare a livello locale e anche più lontano e quattro mountain bike da prendere in prestito. Tuttavia, quando la maggior parte della gente viene, tende a stare molto e rilassarsi in questo giardino privato vicino alla piscina, saltuariamente saltando in spiaggia o negozi e ristoranti locali.

Questa non è una casa incontaminata, rinnovata, marmorizzata o lucida, né un hotel con personale a vostra completa disposizione. È naturale, comodo e bello. E il nostro custode, Manolo, è disponibile e sa come funziona tutto.

A lovely family holiday

We spent 2 weeks in the villa with family and friends. It was perfect for everyone, with lots to see and do nearby, a lovely beach we could walk to and the gorgeous pool for refreshing swims. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful old house near the beach

Lovely characterful house with many terraces and beautiful garden. Large property inside and out with pretty areas to sit by the pool. Beautiful views of he sea and Gibraltar from the top terrace.

Casa dejada que necesita muchas mejoras

Sajama es una casa muy amplia que está cerca de la playa, pero está muy dejada y necesita muchas mejoras.Tiene un jardín inmenso que también está muy descuidado. Cuando llegamos tuvimos que estar limpiando la casa, estaba muy sucia, con muchos bichos, arañas, pelos, incluso encontramos unos calcetines sucios en una cama,… Se publicita como una casa familiar rústica, pero deja mucho que desear, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta lo que se cobra por el alquiler. Necesita mobiliario exterior nuevo, hamacas, barbacoas (tienen tanta roña que te da miedo usarlas), sillas,… Sobre el interior, decir que las ventanas se deberían de cambiar, hay algunas que no tienen ni cristales, tendría que cambiar la nevera pequeña (tuvimos que descongelarla en varias ocasiones porque hacía tanto ruido que no nos dejaba dormir), tiene los sofás destartalados, alfombras sucísimas, burros para colgar la ropa llenos de roña y polvo (en 4 habitaciones solo había 1 armario y medio), menaje escaso, baños con olor a tuberías,… La puerta de entrada, que indica que tiene cerradura de seguridad, se abría sola, la verja no se cerraba por fuera, solo por dentro,… Cada poco hablábamos con Manolo para que fuese arreglando lo que fallaba, un día sí y otro también. En conclusión, nos hemos sentido estafados con el alquiler de esta casa, ya que se alquila por un precio que no se corresponde con lo que se oferta. Al indicarle todo esto a Bridget nos sugirió que no dejásemos nuestra opinión en la página de Vrbo

Relaxing and peaceful

This is a lovely, homely traditional house with a beautiful garden and pool near the beach and right next to El Estrecho natural park.. We were a mixed age family group and all really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Property

Property was lovely with excellent facilities as described. The access was easy upon arrival. We did have a issue with the oven tripping the electrics but all other facilities were great. The main issue for us was that the shops were a bit further away and we did not have a car. Taxis were difficult to get hold of, so the easiest option was the local shops at the other end of the beach, however the choice was a bit limited, with only access on a busy road or across the beach. In future we would definitely hire a car for easier access, this would also allow us to further explore the local area. The property has easy access to the beach with options for paddleboarding and kayaking. The on site pool was fantastic and a great size for the little ones we had with us, it was also securely gated to prevent unwanted access by the kids. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Si quieres disfrutar de unos dias de descanso total, cerca del mar, en una casa maravillosa con todo el encanto en sus habitaciones, jardín y todas sus rincones, has elegido la casa perfecta. Además tienes a 100 metros una playa maravillosa. Me vine con mi familia y quedamos encantados. Ha sido como un sueño.

Fantastic!

We had a great holiday in this interesting house. It has far more character than most of the rental homes we stayed in. We loved the gardens and roof terraces and spent many hours relaxing near the pool. The location is excellent being just a few metres from a good sandy beach.

So much to offer.

This large house and garden has so many levels, interesting corners and balconies that I am not sure whether, in a week, we did it all justice. The views over the Bay of Gibraltar and across to Morocco are superb. The lovely beach is a perfect distance away and it is on the edge of El Estrecho Natural Park. The area is Spanish as opposed to filled with other visitors and visits to Cadiz, Gibraltar and Tangier are all easily doable and excellent for sightseeing and shopping.

Authentic spain

If you’re looking for a sleek all mod cons villa this might not be the place for you. If you’re looking a magical place with beautiful gardens with a lovely beach two minutes walk from your door in a proper Spanish resort then you’ve found it here. Our party have had a fabulous week here and we will definitely be back.

Very charming house, huge, lots of personality. Lovely grounds

We love old houses full of charm and personality and that is why we booked Casa Sajama. We were a group of friends using the place as a base for day trips in the area with some lazy days at the house as well. The house is a LOT bigger than it looks in the ad and can easily fit a lot of guests with places to hide away. It's very quiet and you can hear the sea nearby. The pool is lovely and there are lots of shady areas as well. The garden is beautiful. There was some confusion with check-in but in the end everything was resolved. Manolo the on-site caretaker is great and really easy to communicate with if you speak Spanish. While I did know what to expect in terms of a historic house and things not being pristine I think the owner should update at minimum the sofas in the living room and near the pool to be more comfortable. Ultimately the house is really special but with a little further effort it could be improved from something "worn out" to something "faded yet cozy"!

Beautiful Views and Gardens

Loved the rustic look and feel of the house. Manolo was always very helpful with any questions we had. A few suggestions I have for the owner of the home. It would be nice to have better and more bath and beach towels available. The ones at the house are worn out. Its hard for people to travel from so far to bring their own. The a/c in two of the rooms did not work. It can be a little uncomfortable in summer nights or when you are getting dress to go out for the night. If you have a chance try out the mattress in the master bedroom. It felt that I was sleeping on the ground it's so hard. I loved the kitchen which is equipped with everything you might need for cooking. Overall I loved my stay and so did my family. It was wonderful having the beach so close. We also enjoyed having Lapsang around the house.

Lots of space, great location and lovely gardens

We loved our stay in Getares. The villa is in a great location, close to the beach & restaurants with an amazing private garden. It has tons of space and is well equipped for a relaxing stay. We used the bikes, did day trips to Tarifa and Gibraltar and enjoyed time at the beach and around the pool. We would think about staying again if we were ever to come back to this area. Don't expect a formal, pristine villa - its older and very relaxed and comfortable - perfect for families.

Very nice classic villa!

We really enjoyed the 3 terraces overlooking the harbor in the evening...The very shaded outside dining area with the big wood/charcoal grills, and the gas burner for paella! The pool and cabanna, "Bridgets Bar" were used frequently...Perfect for those late afternoon Spanish tapas. We really appreciated the garden...Well kept, with an incredible variety of flowers, trees, and cactus! The kitchen is well appointed, as are the family room, formal dining room, and the bedrooms. Fantastic views from every window! Very short walk to the nice clean beach! We will be back, but for longer stay next time!

Great family home nice garden with lovely pool 2 min to safe beach

Just nice and relaxing with all that you need for 2 weeks in the sun. We went in august wealther perfect our 3 young boys loved it. We also had a guest turn up and there was plent of room for him too. All in all a great memory and a good place to go back to.

The villa is lovely. The most impressive feature is the grounds with numerous places places to relax

A very spacious villa with lots of character. Great for hanging around in. Although the pool is small it is great for a dip and the grounds around it are lovely. Two barbecue areas and lots of outside seating. The ground floor is dark and cool. Great views from the roof terraces.

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location

We have stayed in many lovely places but the whole family agreed that this one is our favorite. The garden and house are spacious and beautiful. The pool is lovely and the access to the beach, shops and restaurants is excellent. We particularly enjoyed having the use of bikes and cycled into Algeciras for breakfast and lunch. Also cycled to the lighthouse and enjoyed a snorkelling expedition. The villa is very well equipped and we had some very welcome food and drink for our arrival. There is also very thorough Information on the villa and things to do etc. There are some noisy neighbours but could have been other holiday makers so might just have been this week. Otherwise faultless. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Glorious house with fabulous views

This was the perfect getaway for some winter sun. I swam everyday in the heated pool, did a beautiful walk up the Rio de Miel and explored the coastline up to Trafalgar. The house and garden are both beautiful. Lots of different spaces outside including balconies from the main bedroom and 3 roof terraces with gorgeous views to the sea ( beach 30 seconds away) Very well equipped throughout so we lacked for nothing . Will definitely go again!!!
