Ottima sistemazione
La villa è molto bella e spaziosa, soprattutto grazie agli ampi balconi. Si trova poco fuori Alghero, ma noleggiando delle biciclette le spiagge e il centro città sono raggiungibili in meno di 15 minuti. La casa non manca di nulla, è persino presenta una griglia in giardino nel caso si volessero fare una grigliata (noi l'abbiamo usata e abbiamo passato una bellissima serata). Nel complesso l'esperienza è stata più che positiva!

Stunning view! Huge house
We had a wonderful time!! It is a beautiful HUGE house with a magnificent view and garden. The house is well equipped and very clean. There is a baby bed, microwave and a washing machine - short everything what we need for us and our two children (3,5 years and 14 months). Gennaro and Bonaria were very helpful and friendly. The beach is very nice and you can reach it in few minutes with car. Quiet place for fantastic holidays. We will come back.

Séjour fantastique
Magnifique villa avec deux terrasses, on pouvait déjeuner au lever du soleil et souper au coucher du soleil. L'endroit est très tranquille avec un jardin bien entretenu avec de beaux arbres et fleurs. Propriété fermée, idéal pour les enfants. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Tout était parfait.

Très agréable séjour
Très agréable villa avec terrasses bien ventilées vue sur mer, de belles pièces et perspectives. La villa aurait besoin de rénovations, qui ont déjà commencé semble-t-il car les 2 salles de bains sont neuves. Les propriétaires sont forts sympathiques, merci pour leur disponibilité. Enfin, Alghero est une très belle ville animée et nous avons apprécié nous baigner à la plage de Maria Piu. À conseiller donc !

In need of some repair and updating.
Although at one time this was probably a lovely family home, it is now in great need of some repair and updating. For the price of the rental I would have expected a higher standard of fixtures and fitting. But with some care and attention it has the potential to be a wonderful property. Several items listed on the facilities were missing. There was no microwave, no toaster, no coffee maker or ironing board. Air Conditioning…. Sort of! Just one working unit in upstairs hallway. We had to ask the agent how it worked….the remote hadn’t been supplied! In the lounge area there are three rather old sofas that have seen better days. (not the ones shown on the website photos) There were wooden boards under some of the seat cushions where the springs have collapsed! Outside there is no actual garden, apart from the driveway there is just an area of stony scrub land. Not suitable for children to play on unless the rubble and dried up dog excrement is cleared. The curved marble staircase looks impressive but what you can’t see from the photos is that one side of it is completely open. This is incredibly dangerous if you have small children as they could easily fall about 2 metres onto marble flooring. On the plus side the internet worked well. The villa is in a great position outside the town but within about 20 minutes walking distance. It has stunning views from the balcony. To sit up there having dinner and watching the sunset was the one thing that made the stay worthwhile, except for……. The neighbouring properties have several dogs. If you approach the villa on foot two or three of them have to be chased off from around you while the others bark madly. (Very scary for a 2 year old child) Even worse is the fact that they are left out at night and bark at all hours. We didn’t have a single night without being woken by them. Take earplugs!

Dear Pam, really I'm so sorry that this house doesn't fit your expectations. I'm the broker and I rent several houses, and I'm in Alghero in order to help my customers. Why you didn't call me in order to bring microwave? Why you expected so much in order to present your complain? I would have arrived in 10 minutes with one new microwave. Or I would have been able also to change the house is low season. I'm sorry for the dog, but they don't belong to our property and when you was walking with your child during the night, dogs were doing their job, protecting the villas nearby. House and garden is like in the pictures. Nothing different. In any case, you are right, the house is beautiful but need more maintenance, and we are doing this day after day. Steps are beautiful like in the pictures, but you can understand that is not possible protect all the steps for the child. Why you wrote that no toaster and no coffe machine, no iron board? They are in the house. I checked personally. Next time Pam, before rent straight the house, please get in touch with me, let me know what you need, and I will suggest the best solution for your needs. Bye dear.
