Cottage a Allentown

“This was our second year staying at this rental as a mid-way point for a drive we were making. The house was clean, spacious, and had a large, paved driveway for parking. We had great communication with Vanessa and appreciate that the house is pet friendly because our two dogs travel with us. We only spent one night here, but the house had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We watched the deer in the backyard after checking in and visited A'Latte Cafe in the morning before we...

“A perfect little cottage for our girlfriend getaway weekend! We did not spend much time at The Cottage as we were out and about, but the time that we did we were made to feel so welcome~~~ any questions we had the host were quick to respond. We were provided fresh eggs, and coffee in the kitchen, sweet little amenities and extras in the bathroom if you needed them, as well as plenty of towels! We would have loved to use the hot tub one evening, but we were so tired from all of our antique...

“Some things we liked: the TV is huge, couch and upstairs bed are comfy, the private dock, felt like a safe location, responsiveness of the host, board games provided Some things we didn’t like: none of the fire alarms were installed (they were all sitting on top of the cupboards in a pile), the breaker to the fridge, washer, and back room tripped more times than I can count on my fingers and toes for a 4-night stay, wet towels left in the washer, comforter in the small room smelled like urine,...

“Small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great location in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The problem for us was that there is just one parking space which was occupied and parking in Jim Thorpe is quite difficult to find, especially for overnight parking. If the space is available, you are all set. If not, good luck finding a place to park where you wont get a ticket.”

“Country living with a beautiful outdoor pool and pond.”

“This place is amazing. Close to downtown Frenchtown. Very clean and quiet. All the amenities you need. A perfect getaway.”

“The house was well stocked with all the comforts of home. We had everything with needed. The place was clean and comfortable. The hot tub is fabulous. The yard is a good size for playing with the dog. The outside could use some landscape love.”
