Family Friendly•Great Location•Cute & Cozy
This cute and cozy home is in a great location within walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants as well as the sandy shores of Lake Huron and local parks and play areas.
This lovely home features two bedrooms on the main level and one bedroom on the upper level (up just 4 steps). Both twin beds have trundles that can be easily pulled out to accommodate extra guests.
There is a desk in the dining room and all tvs are roku with streaming apps so that you can log in to your personal account. This home is subscribed to FUBO and you are welcome to use it to watch sports to your hearts content!
Guests will have full access to the home and yard.
We live nearby and are readily available if you should need anything during your stay. We are very quick to respond to messages and look forward to providing a wonderful stay for our guests.

This home is on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood.
The home is within walking distance to parks and the downtown area, so walking or biking are great options. It's just 1 mile away from Mich-e-ke-wis Park splash pad, beach and playgrounds, and within walking distance to Thompson Beach and Blair Street Pier and small beach area as well.
Please note...Cars can not park in the driveway because it is too short. There is room for 1 car in the small garage. Parking on the street is free and unlimited. You can park on the side of the home as well as in front of it. From Nov 1 to April 1 street parking is not allowed overnight so please consider this if you're looking to book for the winter. The home is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.
There are ceiling fans in the home as well as window A/C units in the living room and upper bedroom (seasonally)
There is not cable TV at the home, but there are smart tvs so you can stream using your own accounts, and you are welcome to enjoy sports on the homes FUBO account.

Little House
This small property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect size for my husband and I.
The home has beautiful wood work and finishes.
A nice little one car garage, will be great in the winter. Our host provides many little extras which makes for a great stay.

Perfect End of Summer Stay
My family and I stayed at this location when we made our annual Summer vacation to Alpena.
This rental was the perfect size for the four of us and was so cute! I loved all of the details from when the house was originally built (door knobs, wooden floors, archways). It was also very nice to have the updated amenities (bathroom, AC, ceiling fans, TV, internet, etc). We spent most of our time visiting family, but the home was perfect to come to at the end of the day or for a midday break. Our daughters loved having their own room with the trundle bed. They also loved the coloring books and puzzles that were available.
The home is located close to the beach and downtown Alpena. We were there for Labor Day weekend and the neighborhood was very quiet and the traffic was almost non-existent.
This is our second time renting with Handrich Properties and we plan to rent with them again! We had a change in our vacation and Jennie was able to accommodate us. We didn't need any assistance during our stay, but I am confident that the response would have been timely.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in Alpena. The house is located just a few blocks from the water, and a short walk to parks and downtown. Alpena has a very nice splash pad for the kids and a nice beach at Starlite Beach. The farmer’s market had some great produce and baked goods, too!
Everything in the home was spotless! The kids toys, coloring books, crayons, beach toys, snack basket, etc provided by Jennie were a huge hit with my 1 year old.. we greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness! The upstairs room was the perfect set up for a ‘nursery’, which included a comfortable glider chair. The hosts also provide a pack n play! The air conditioner unit in the living room and box fans throughout the home were perfect for the hot days. I’d recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

A Great Place To Stay!
Property manager does an amazing job! She is very helpful with great communication. My family had a great time staying here. Very comfortable, clean, organized, and the location is very good. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Awesome Stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this location! Was perfect for what we needed, good for the kids to play plenty of room for us. Enjoyed having the garage for water toys and the car. We enjoyed using the grill and being outside. Close to many locations in Alpena able to walk to downtown and the water. We will definitely stay again; Jennie was extremely accommodating and very helpful.
