Nestled on a quiet, dead end road with a night sky perfect for star-gazing. Quick and easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails from the property. Close to gas, restaurants and stores. 15 minutes from world-famous Salmon River and many other fishing destinations. Plenty of parking for trailers. Incredible kitchen, fully equipped, including double oven, cook top, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, farm sink and all utensils. Linens and towels included.

Altmar Fire Company Poker Run

This place was awesome. The owner was very understanding of a situation that may have involved an extra guest not originally planned on. The owner seemed very hospitable. Very Understanding. Definitely recommend this VRBO as a great place to stay.

Snowmobilers Paradise

We stayed here for a couple day and had a great time. Eric was a great host, super responsive, and very accommodating. I feel the place is nicer in person than the pictures show. Very warm and cozy.

A lovely quiet home

My wife, mom, and I flew in from Iowa to meet up with some family fishing Salmon River and we chose this home for our stay. What a perfect location! Well off the road so you only hear the trees and birds, but close enough to town to meet with friends and fish. The home is perfect for a family or friends and was very clean and comfortable, we would stay again for sure!

Honeymoon & 2024 eclipse

The place was absolutely perfect for us. So comfortable, super clean, and well-appointed. They have an amazingly stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need as well as so many kitchen staples. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, toiletry items, the works, really! We spent our honeymoon here, watching the total solar eclipse, exploring Salmon River Falls, and enjoying the gorgeous dark night sky full of stars. Their hospitality is outstanding, they helped make this trip perfect and something that we will treasure forever. This place will always have a special place in our hearts. We can't wait until our next visit!

Salmon fishing trip

The property is on a quiet dead end country road. It was very comfortable and clean with plenty of room. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We fished for salmon in the Salmon River which is just a short drive from the house. I highly recommend staying here if in the area. Check in was great and the host was very helpful and communicated quickly. Will hopefully stay here again.
