“So clean it seemed brand new. The knotty pine interior was beautifully decorated with cowboy/longhorn motif. It was just perfect. The cabin are situated so the large number of gorgeous longhorn cattle are just a few yards from the back deck. If you want quiet and a star filled sky, this is the place for you. ”

“We had the best stay here!! The history of the house was amazing and the owners have kept it original while adding the modern conveniences. Myself and my daughters stayed and we spent so much time trying to take in all the special touches like the history of the house and of Shirley, very cool to read about! And Duke the hounddog was the perfect touch, he roams Shirley getting love and food from everyone. Perfect place to stay so you're in the middle of all the towns to go and do and experience...

“This property was perfect for a short getaway. My husband and I brought our two dogs with us for the first time. They loved swimming in the lake and the views from inside the cabin. We had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The bed and linens were a treat. The outside deck railing is a little precarious. Other than that this house is in a perfect location and we will definitely be returning.”
