Totally loving this hotel. It’s new and beautifully designed. The rooms though compact feels luxurious and is suitable for a few nights in Copenhagen. My 2 issues are that the aircon control is too smart for me. However, the reception easily got it fixed. Secondly, the seat by the window is too high for shorter folks with no other seat option in the room. It’s not so much of a hassle unless if you need to work in the room.
There’s a spacious seating area on the ground floor serving water and hot drinks. The hotel booking came with breakfast, though a simple breakfast spread, it was good enough.
Ibis Styles hotel is located next to a popular bakery called Anderson Bakery and is a few minutes walk from the train station. The shopping mall Fields is about a 15-20 minute walk away. There are lots of open walking space here as it’s very much a residential area and is very walkable. There aren’t many food options but it’s ok if you are staying here a few nights or have most of your meals in the city before heading back.
