Il portone del palazzo è direttamente sulla strada e da lì, si accede agli appartamenti comodamente con l'ascensore oppure attraverso le scale in marmo.
Amalfi is located in the center of the Amalfi Coast and all buses leave from here to reach the 13 villages of the Amalfi Coast (Ravello, Scala, Atrani, Minori, Maiori, Cetara, Erchie, Vietri sul Mare, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Praiano and Positano). In addition to the bus you can reach by boat Maiori, Positano, Sorrento, Capri and the city of Salerno. Being a small village do not have free parking. HOUSE RULES
- Apartment not suitable for children under 12 years old. It is suitable for babies up to 8 months.
- Price including: Linen and towels,mid week cleaning (it includes cleaning of bathrooms and the change of linen and towel); only for weekly rentals. Any extra change of linen and towel ha an extra cost of € 18,00 per person.
- Not included: *City tax *Electricity/air conditioning included up 160kwh extra consumption 0,40 per kwh.
- There would be a penalty of an extra € 50,00 if the house will be too dirty and untidy and if the garbage will be in the apartment
- *Heating 140,00 per week
- Extra cleaning on request: € 20,00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours.

- Check in is from 16.00 to 21.30. For arrivals after 21:30 until 00:30 there is an extra charge of EUR 50.00; After 23.30 the extra fee is of EUR 100 and the time is to be confimed in agreement with us. SUNDAY and HOLYDAY CHECK IN: there is a surcharge of EUR 50 to be paid upon arrival. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property.

The approximate arrival time, way of arrival (by air and/or using a car or public transportation) including flight or train details and contact number needs to be communicated to us by email at least a week before the arrival. This will help us arrange a meeting that addresses all your needs and questions. In case you are delayed, please give us a telephone call to advise the estimated time of arrival.
- The property has not parking but we can help to reserve a parking space at an extra charge. It needs to be booked in advancde
- At the departure the apt has be left tidy, with the kitchen clean and free from rubbish. Eventually, these conditions are not respected will be deducted from the deposit an amount corresponding to the hours of cleaning necessary to bring the property clean.
- Please note that power cuts are common in this area so do not use all the electrical appliances all together otherwise the power may cut out.
- ALWAYS SWITCH OFF LIGHTS AND ELECTRICAL OR GAS APPLIANCES WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN USE AND WHEN YOU GO OUT *Please be nice and use the air conditioning only when needed and with windows closed and PLEASE switch off it when you are not in the house and at your departure. Be nice to the environment * It is forbidden the use of candles, the floor can be damaged.
- On your arrival will be required to sign a contract and the house inventory and copy of all the passports.

REGATA - Ogni quattro anni, nel periodo tra maggio e giugno, Amalfi ospita la Regata Storica delle Repubbliche Marinare che coinvolge anche Pisa, Venezia e Genova, le città che per secoli si sono contese la supremazia sul Mediterraneo.
La regata si svolge su galeoni da 8 rematori, ricostruiti su modelli del XII secolo ed è preceduta da un corteo di figuranti in costume storico.
Ad Amalfi la competizione parte da Capo di Vettica e arriva davanti alla Marina Grande, con un percorso di circa 2.000 metri. Le quattro imbarcazioni, lunghe 11 m e pesanti 760 kg, sono condotte da 8 rematori a sedile fisso e da un timoniere che sta in piedi nel castelletto di poppa, adorno della bandiera di ciascuna Repubblica.
La manifestazione, di solito ricorre il primo weekend di Giugno, si articola in due momenti importantissimi e complementari, apre il maestoso Corteo Storico e segue la Regata dei Galeoni.
Il corteo Storico è composto da circa quattrocento figuranti che indossano preziosi costumi medievali, fedelmente riprodotti da antichi modelli. Ciascun gruppo rievoca ed interpreta un preciso episodio storico ed i principali personaggi legati alla storia ed ai fasti della propria città, in uno splendido contesto coreografico di vessilli, di trombe, di tamburi e di armi.

- a terrace with a dining table, umbrella and chairs;
- two comfortable bathrooms, one with the shower and the second with the bath/shower on the upper floor;
- on the second floor a bedroom with 2 single beds (on request with a double bed) with 2 balconies and sea view;
- on the second floor a bedroom with a french bed and a window facing the sea.

HISTORY
As evidence of the historic villa in Amalfi is the mention found of this beautiful residence in the famous book on the Costiera Amalfitana ~ entitled Costa del le Sirene published in 1867.
In Amalfi, the people refer to the villa as the "Palace" , which was purchased in 1943 by the Marquis Francesco Mottola of Amato. Renovated by the heirs which sought to emphasize the architectural beauty of the villa, the airiness of the rooms, and to delight the senses by planning an exquisite garden. In 2004 the villa was declared a "monument of national interest" by the Ministry of Culture.

AROUND

It stands on the western side of Amalfi, along the road to Positano, immediately after the luxurious Hotel Santa Caterina. It has a privileged location with a feast of astounding views. The villa is situated at ca 500 metres from the beautiful beach of Duoglio (Lido degli Artisti), which can be accessed via a spectacular descent of steps or by one of many boats that leave from the harbour (10/15 minutes walk from the Villa).Recently renovated by the current owners and heirs, the villa is equipped with all modern comforts, yet retains it s elegant aristocratic character, including the fascinating cave that gives access to the elevator.
It is close to many outstanding villages, historic sites and locations (Ravello, Positano, Emerald Grotto, Paestum, Pompeii, Capri, etc..), offers access to the great cities of Naples and Salerno, and is ideally situated to enjoy the many attractions and events that the Amalfi Coast can offer.
A few miles from the property there is a beautiful and large public swimming pool. The payment for the entrance is directly at the entrance.
